If your a true fan of the mgs series then you should understand why snake ages so rapidly. It's part of the story and an important part at that. I'm tired of people saying that "snakes old" and "I didn't want to play as a old guy". Does that change the fact that he is a complete badass who's fought, in my opinion, some of the most AMAZING boss battles ever. Bottom line tho, he should be getting old and I think that MGS4 was a perfect wrap up to the mgs series.

At least that is what I heard, Konami or who ever the guy who created the game said something about true fans should expect a true metal gear game. He wasn't referring to Rising. I like the character Solid Snake, they need to write him back in, maybe a new clone, You know Otacon can find something to either cure him or clone him, even though it's technically impossible to do. He's a nerd, he can do it.

i was listening to this and i started seeing this story or whatever, where like, 100 years in the future, everybody has their own spaceship and stuff, but afghanistan is still a shithole. this girl wakes up, walks outside and there's carnage everywhere, everyone's dead, wreckage of spaceships etc, she's the last person there, she gets in a spaceship and leaves earth, crying, meanwhile the same thing happens to a dude in ecuador, he takes off in a spaceship in the opposite direction

Roger Ebert said games cannot be art. No, they are above art. Games are made from music which in itself is art. Many have a story which is itself an art. A cutscene can be considered art. Heck even a texture is art. But above all, you can control games while art is static.

By definition those men over thought things, even without going into metaphysics. By definition, being smart requires "overthinking" things. It has nothing to do with intelligence. A man can philosophize & do other things at different times. Just because he over thinks something doesn't mean he over thinks everything.
