Both sucks ....You never know who is flying the plane ..could be a cab driver ...ha ha ha ...nothing on the name of hospitality ...crew sucks .....jet could be 5 % better than Air India ...but both are pretty below the international standards in many aspects ....though they wish to charge 20-30% more .......Just ask them to travel once in Singapore, Swiss, American, Emirates even Lufthansa to see the difference ....

I have travelled all airlines and have had experience with Jet airways where the tray for food in front of the seat was broken, and I had to wait till they served others, and then they gave me an alternate seat to sit and have food. So just saying Air india/Indian Airlines is bad is not good. All airlines have their share of good or bad. I have had a bad one with Jet, does not mean that the airline is bad.. It was just one time.. Yes ontime performance for national carriers is bit shaggy.

Australia has its bad areas too, I have never been there but have cousins living in Melbourne who I want to visit and check out the weather there. So, London for you now - again, lots of racism there as well within the Police force. I have a buddy who lives there and I want to visit him soon as well, again, never visited London, but have been through Heathrow Airport only.

well the setward from Biman told me that they had an accident in one of the windows which was never fixed.. but then they found out wind cud cum in n it seems to have a positive effect on the aircraft coz it become scooler n takes away the smell of curry or other spices on board..
