GTA IV is fun, but in a lame way. Trust me. only two weapon sets, both have basically the same gun, only different quality. They replaced awesome stuff like jacking a plane, to hailing a fucking cab.

From what I've seen, It's fun, colorful, and full of awesome things to do, like spray people with shit from a sewage truck. Obviously more fun than hailing cabs.

This is a good game. Why didn't they recognize that? Two words: Graphics Whores.

I will admit, hunting the FuroTech cells was annoying. But, You're supposed to do things on your own free will. The game lets you decide what weapons you want to use. You're not having fun if you let the game decide for you. You have no sense of humor either. How the hell are the drug and hippie jokes not funny? The glitches also added to the humor, and they didn't ruin gameplay. The most problematic glitch was people being stuck in the ground. If that ruined it for you, get a new hobby.

It's frozen on me too. But I just shrugged it off and restarted and continued destroying stuff.

You have to admit though, GTA and Mercenaries don't let you destroy every building floor by floor, or stop time and mess the world up. It may not be the best game ever, but it's still got shit that GTA could NEVER pull off, making it original and unique, and fun, as long as you give it a second chance, or at least a try.

And In DAH!2 yo get the Metor Strike, which lets you level buildings from the ground! IMO that's more fun than GTA, and Gears of War. Honestly, they only play that game for the multiplayer, and there are only whiny little bitches online. Sure you get a chainsaw, but come on. Every other game's done a bloody chainsaw before. Namely every GTA ever.

The saucer has 5 weapons on it, which includes a weapon that CREATES A TORNADO. And you can write you name in the street. Win.

Sure, simple guns that just splatter blood. Boring. I prefer weapons that are unique and have different effects.

Sure, GTA SA lets you run around as a gangster, but being an alien is better. You can be recloned, and you can bodysnatch hot roller babes, and create black holes.

It isn't totally useless. You'd probably realiz that if you actually used it. The tornadotron is useful for taking out air enemies and causing massive damage to structures. plus it's fun. Why would you not want to use it?

None of these guns shoot banana peels. They shoot black holes, ion grenades, and lightning. They're all useful when fightin large groups of enemies, and again, they're fun. You just need to use them on your own will, instead of wanting the game to do it for you.

Actually, the D-ray is more useless in PotF than in DAH!2. The dislocator isn't useless. it's the only equivilent to PK until you upgrade to lift up cars and tanks. The anal probe is a great way to collect DNA, which is needed in order to upgrade. The black hole gun can take out large groups of enemies and people. And the saucer is preyy much the only way to destroy buildings. There's pleanty of incentive. You just have to create it for yourself. Not many games give you such freedom.

I think you're mistaken. The Black Hole Gun is a handheld weapon. And in PotF, it has five weapons, and all five are useful. Plasma Cannons do the most damage when fighting large enemies, Seeker Drones are best for air combat, Quantum Deconstructor useful for destroying many buildings at once, etc. You need to have a sense of varitety. Try each weapon and FIND a use for it, as there often is one for each gun.

Ahh, that's why. You're talking about the Anti-Gravity gun. I can agree with you there. It was my least used weapon.

True. However, you can find a use for each weapon in PotF. The Ion Detonator is the only weapon that can be used in Time Stop. So you'll definately be using it alot. Plus, in PotF, you can get to the tops of buildings with an upgraded jetpack. The dislocator can help you reach the tops of even the tallest skyscrapers. PotF does it's job well.
