Don't compare chickens and cows to dolphins, though all human history they have helped crews of ships either to navigate through dangerous places or saving survivors from sharks and taking to the coast.
In most sea cultures of the world, dolphins are sacred, signal of good luck, and the only friend you will find in the middle of the sea.

Actually angiesauraus, Bottlenose dolphins kill porpoises for fun too (and the injuries are pretty horrific for the porpoise). Males will also hold females hostage and subject her to forced copulation. They will also carry out infanticide. Many of the large dolphins will also eat smaller dolphins.

I suspect dolphins are more intelligent than Chimps. Humans use the animals ability to obey commands as a litmus test for intelligence.. it doesn't makes sense to equate intelligence with ability to obey when some animals like the dolphin do not have the opposable thumbs necessary for many abilities.

Dolphins are a lot less violent than humans. Makes sense, though. Their neocortex is larger.
No dolphin has ever killed a human. Dolphins have saved countless human lives through the ages. They certainly don't deserve to be tortured for 20-30 hours in Japan and Denmark.

Dolphins are extremely intelligent and self aware, that is true. And with personality comes Selfishness from the natural urge to reproduce and pass on ones genes for as long as they can. You could find that Humans have the same ultimate goal if you exclude the need to explore. If that is true Dolphins are capable of evil, its also shown that they do Rape and Kill for fun and not food or competition, they can be equally destructive and violent as Humans if they were more Evolved.

Yes there're records that dolphins rape their females and kill porpoises for fun, but they NEVER do harm to humans. That's a strange fact, goes far beyond the reasoning of the selfish gene.
BTW, dolphins are MORE evolved than humans in terms of physiology and neurology.

Actually angiesauraus, Bottlenose dolphins kill porpoises for fun too (and the injuries are pretty horrific for the porpoise). Males will also hold females hostage and subject her to forced copulation. They will also carry out infanticide. Many of the large dolphins will also eat smaller dolphins.
I get so sick of people trying to make dolphins out as walt disney 'gods' rather than seeing them as wild animals.

Desmond Morris hypothesized that humans were amphibious apes at one time, which would explain many characteristics about human physiology (chubby babies that instinctively know how to swim, moist dung, legs that straighten out, slightly webbed fingers, etc.), so it's possible humans and dolphins once had a close symbiotic relationship.

It's quite an exciting and facinating idea that humans could share more common biological traits with dolphins than with apes. Dolphins appear to be highly social cretures who don't live well in isolation much like humans. I believe the theorized common ancestor to the dolphin is a wolf like creature. The social aspect of "pack" behavior makes sense in that regard.

@BlaskoWX in theory, we have been known to have been aquatic apes at one time, that is why babies are able to swim right when they get out of the womb as well as a waxy coating; we also have a diving reflex if properly trained permitting us to dive for minutes at a time. it is speculated that we were symbiotically alligned with the dolphin at that time. regardless; dolhpins are one of the smartest beasts on earth second only to humans and that is widely challenged as well.Theyarenotjust animals.
