I think it is a combination of all at the same time on the face of that black police officer. Police officers are brother-black,white,asian,what­ever they are all brothers in blue. The pain and suffering of one is felt by all. The expression on the face at Mayor Dellums as he looks at the Police Chief pondering what he is about to say, indeed, what can he say??

The other day a similiar incident occured at the exact same address, fortunely events played out much much differently.

I was there, it was an awesome experience, the entire Oakland Police Department was there. Officers and dispatchers from other city were patroling Oakland and staffing the Oakland Dispatch Center.

My Laptop just died Saturday morning - All my photos for this project and the video itself are on the hard drive, I never had time to back it up when I got back from the Memorial Service in Oakland, really need to get at the data to finish this Memorial Video.

I'm hoping to find a way to save the data on the laptops' hard drive so that I may finish this project and do another on the funeral service itself.

At 1:58 in your video, as the SWAT vehicle is leaving for the hospital, there is a glimpse of the police car leaving as well. There is news footage of this police car following the SWAT vehicle at a high rate of speed in reverse as it goes though the intersection and completes a reverse U-turn (J - Maneuver) and showing how the officer is able to perform an incredible driving skill in an extreme emergency situation.

Awesome ! Great choice for music, brings a cool beet and a sense of danger and depth of risk Oakland P.D. takes in protecting it's citizens. I was at the Arco memorial today with VX2000 and Canon digital camera I got allot of great footage your welcome to it. I focussed on the comraderie of officers, motorcycles. Most people don't realize how much work goes into a work such as yours good job very professional!
