  • This is so good. Probably my favorite curry I've ever tasted.

    Can someone recommend other good recipes to try? I don't really like vegetables, so I'd prefer it to just a "sauce" sort of dish.

  • @sanjeevkapoorkhazana sanjeev ji u r a good cook and make nice dishes, but please refrain frm making comments out of your area of expertise, 1) what is non vegetarian behaviour? you said that some people say that non-veg khane se humara behaviour bhi non-veg ho jata hai, thats a completely futile n unnecessary statement/question as there is nothing such as non-veg behaviour 2) B12 deficiency is not linked to anger, where did you come up with tht completely non-scientific correlation? ridiculous

  • thaknx a lot for this recipe..i loved its taste ..its really delicious...but nw i hav got a really big doubt in cooking chicken..if u see in restaurents the chicken whick they make is really tasty and damn soft..what do they add to make it that soft..??is there any secret ingreadent to make it soft..?? and another doubt is if u make paneer butter masala, butter chicken masala in home it des not give the taste like in hotels but nw after adding kasturi methi leaves it gives the taste like htls

    Cooking it longer will make it softer. I think most restaurants cook it for at least 2 or 3 hours.

    Also the cut of chicken of course makes a difference. I prefer thigh meat as it's usually softer (and also tastier!) than breast meat.

  • I have been watching him since I was 5, and he never gets old. Always something new, fun, and yummy food is presented by him. I remember I use to be scared when he turned on the chopper LOL! I use to runaway, but still use to wait everyday till his show came on. This man can COOK!

    1) how long do i marinate the chicken....

    2) I dont like the smell of chicken while having it.....what should i add to remove it.

No one has made a video on kori sukka so far, there are so many requests from people to make one can you volunteer please its a request....Here in Canada were we live there is hardly any Indian restaurants,your video is the only option..My Canadian friends really liked the Kori ghassi that we made last week.

  • If I add blended onion in any recipe I can smell the raw onion in the gravy even after cooking well.. =( For this recipe, if I first fry the onions and then blend, will that change the taste too much?

  • Make sure you do not overcook onions which will change the taste as well as the colour of the dish.

  • Chef, I have learned alot by watching you. I love the cocnut flavour in the curry. It makes it nice and rich like the restuarants. Could you please teach us how a lamb vindaloo is done. I really love it and I have alot of trouble trying to make it at home. It just doesn't turn out nice.

  • It depends on where you want to open your Indian restaurant for there will be non-Indians besides Indians coming to eat there. This is a typically south indian dish with coconut and its taste has to be cultivated by those you are not familiar with the coconut flavour.

  • You can adjust the chillies as per your taste. Onion adds its own special flavour.

  • i always wanted to make ghassi, thanks so much for this. One question though, if you make it with prawns, when do you add the prawns? after the sauce comes to a boil, or at the same time as the chicken in this video?

  • Now that you have the recipe when are you going to try it out? Do let us know it turned out. Prawns get cooked quickly so add after the gravy comes to a boil.
