Just bought this guitar -- it fucking OWNS...not other word to describe it but pure ownage. The floyd gives me a headache though, still gotta learn how to set it up properly :( But -- I ordered a tremol-no and hopefully with that installed it will make life easier. Also got a brass big block on the edge pro trem...makes the sustain a lot better.

One question, the second time you played the clean channel, what did you throw on top of it? Had a cool kind of funk chime to it.

Hey Jamie, good job with the demo. Couple quick questions for ya. That RG1527, is that a bolt on or neck through? What tubes are you using in the 333XL?

@MetalFee666 im not jamie, but i have that exact guitar. and soon that amp lol and ibanez rgs are pretty much the best guitars ever created. the J custom ibanez guitars from japan are unbeliveable. you have no idea until you play one.

lol I have the amp and I love it too although I'm new the the gear thing. I have been playing out of an old Peavey Bandit classic chorus and now I'm trying to get a rig together that'll give me options. Any tips for pedals or other gear that goes well with this amp?

@KrlosSanAvi Hey bud, I would definitely recommend DiMarzio Pickups. I recently swapped the stock ones with a ToneZone and PAF7 for the neck, they sound great!

@sleepy502 The Blazes that supposedly come in the RG76**'s arent blazes....

They are Experimental 7 string pickups dimarzio made for Ibanez....they arent bad.

But there other pickups smoke them.

If you can find real "blaze" pickups......there ok. But other Dimarzios are better.

Did you keep the edge pro in there? and if so, how does it hold up? maybe a comparison too?

other one is: how well is it sheilded? i mean when purchased of course. was there hum and feedback? (i am seriously considering this guitar)

@Kurayami00 Hey, I use pedals straight into the clean channel which has the mid all the way up, treble and bass around 6. I use distortion through my pedals.

Sounds friggin great. How does the Bugera cab sound with it? Getting it in the next few months, but I've heard that the speakers that come stock with the Bugera cab aren't too great. What do you think?

The 333xl model has noise gate and the 333 don't.

Try some Dimarzio Blaze 7's fantastic pickups in my opinion! Either that or mix and match like a tone zone with an evo or something. My money is on the blazes though nice guitar too =) im getting mine monday ! got a deal on it for 850$

@jamierobinson777 by the way, for new pups you should get dimarzio's, they are xcellent paired with ibanez, and they have some great 7 string models.

@deathRUNor I actually have just become a DiMarzio endorsee so I have the Tone Zone 7 and PAF7 in this guitar now. Other than that the guitar is competely stock and plays amazing. I have had no problems with this guitar. I will be posting a new demo video for my Ibanez Guitars and DiMarzio pickups soon.
