I suggest you to consider Doradon acclimation system, which allows you to combine bag floating with dripping so that simultaneous equalization of temperature and chemical conditions is accomplished. Furthermore, once the system is setup, you don't need to watch the bag or worry about the bag turning upside down. You can just go about your chores and go back in 20 minutes to execute the next steps.

pretty good video, only a few pointers, remove about half of the existing water from the bag when adding your water to the tank, dont use your hand use a cup, or a drip system preferably, dont take the fish out of the bag with a net, use a wet hand, the nets stress them out, you cant feel with the net so you can potentially hurt the fish, and anyone who has been in the hobby for a while can tell you your fish will do better being introduced by hand. just my personally preference tho

@TheHorsecrazyprinces you dont need an air pump if you have a filtration system, but air pumps are a good and easy way of getting oxygen inside the tank (it also makes little bubble which fish LOVE)

They are Red Hook Silver Dollars i believe , Very nice fish to have but grow to a pretty large size so you would need at least a 70 gallon tank .. they also need to be in groups of at least 3 to be happy .. the more you have the happier they are . also look amazing all together

although it's a common thing I wouldn't place the bag in the tank, many accidents happen because of dirty bags, or contaminated bags that were kept along with toxic substances, I'd use a small container and just let some water from the tank drip through a small hose provided with a faucet. do you think expert village reads our comments? :) PS: did he just say.. happy feces???? :)))

you wouldn't use a net to fish a loach out, because of the barbs, use your common ( or in some peoples case rare) sense

Quite wrong. You wanna float the bag a little, yes, but you DO NOT want to touch the water. Dip the edge down a bit and let a little water in that way. Wait a couple minutes, dip again, wait, then DUMP THE ENITRE BAG OF WATER INTO THE TANK. My dad had a LOT of fish in his life time, and I know they even survived xD.

For a cup, it's pretty much the same thing. Float the cup (Yes, they float.), and tilt it down and get a bit of water in. Wait, tilt, wait, dump. Easier then tying shoes.

dumping the entire bag has been scentificaly proven to be worse for the fish than netting them, simply because whe in the bag, the fish are creating excessive amounts of waste, most isn't ammoniayet, but once added to the tank with high aieriation, it will usualy turn into ammia, ammonia.

would like to make a clarification:

when the fish is in the bag for a long period of time (days) the ph is lower becuase their is less oxygen.(more co2) the oxygen that reenters the bag when the bag is opened can cause the ph to rise and cause the nutrients to change and become deadly.

though, it still is better (imo) to take the fish out fith the nets, or at least poor most of the water out, careful to keep fish in bag, then add tank water, then dump fish.
