The answer to your question: Lots of people who watch YouTube videos don't like Germany, & they jump at the chance to villify Germany whenever any negative event occurs there. Then, defenders of Germany jump in & argue with them, and this easily leads to discussions about history, philosophy, etc. In the USA, this is known as free speech. Some folks will never forgive Germany for WW1 & WW2, even though the causes were complex & multilateral.

@bboucharde They were "undefended" because the Japanese defenses believed the lone B-29 was only on a recon' mission. Japanese actually left bomb shelters and were completely exposed upon detonation of each bomb.

Let us not forget we were the first country in history to help re-build the same country that we helped defeat and bomb into oblivion.

I totally agree that WWII was 65 years ago and people should not bash modern Germans. Most of those responsible for Nazi Germany are dead or very old. However, extolling German philosophy which was the cause of most of the human suffering during the 20th century is counterproductive to your argument. The world should turn to the great philosophers such as Aristotle, Voltaire, Hobbes, and Locke, whose work while often flawed,leads us to capitalism. The only system never responsible for genocide.

the pilot aborted takeoff and done everything right but because of the winter conditions, resulted in skidding off the end of the runways threshold i went there as i live right next to the airport in walking distance and heard about it on the radio so decided to go there and see it.
