  • I have a question : How many breathes do you takes during the second position? I used to think that i should take one during all the position. One inspiration during the rise of the hands and one expiration during their falls.

Also, if you have any information for the Qi's circulation... i'm seeking for a way to make it move.

Anyway, i'm a beginner and this video already helped me to improve my practive.

    Thanks a lot :)

  • @NarmolanyaoOo Please check on Tai Chi Classic by Waysun Lial From P. 129 - 210. It explain very detail on breathing technique. Also, Refer two books by Wolfe Lowenthal, Gateway to the Miraculous, & There are no Secrets. Grandmaster Cheng Man-Ch'ing talked about how to practice 37 Forms in detail. There are many books, I just mention a few. Wish you success and continue to practice. Further question, chungwuchu@yahoo.com

  • @NarmolanyaoOo Chi Kung 18 movements are very good for beginner and feel the Qi' movements. I can help you with this. At this stage, it seems you step forward too fast, practice the forms and build the foundation first, let the chi move naturally and do not force it to make move. There are more lots to it.

  • @chuchutaichi You are right. By looking very carefuly to your video, i saw that i was not doing the form very well. I am now working in order to make well a few movements. Day after day, i can feel sometime like a little warm in my stomach. Then it goes to my back, and it is very pleasant to feel ! I am very interesting in Chi Kung 18 movements, i will make a research to find them. Thanks a lot !

  • from 0.00 to 1.00 he just rised his hand Im sleepy lol

  • @MaxishZ This is for demonstration purpose, not for regular practice. It is for beginners, so I have to do slowly through out forms to show clearly each step. There are total 6 movement changes of palm & wrist in the begging preparation. I can e-mail you the details. My e-mail is chungwuchu@yahoo.com. Thanks for your input.

  • Thanks, this is so clear for a beginner like me.

  • This vid has been very useful

  • I enjoyed and as a begginner in Tai Chi having each position "named" as the form continues helps alot....

  • Thank you for sharing this video

  • The demonstration is very useful, will you be uploading the remaining part.

    Thanks

  • Thanks, I just uploading the Part 2 on my site. Any questions chungwuchu@yahoo.comA

  • It's missing the final third - fair lady at shuttles, etc., etc. Is that portion also posted?

  • Thank you very much for the demonstration, and the names of each movement, it has been so long since I have practised but this will help me to start my daily regime again. Thank you.

  • ich bin begeister. ich würde mich freuen dich in deutchland zu zehen!

  • This helps me very much in my learning of this short form. Have you any intention of posting the rest of it?

  • total 16 minutes, only allowed 10 minutes. I can send you DVD of mine, if you really like it to keep.

  • Leonarto,

Thanks for replying and I'm sorry it's taken so long to get back to you, my PC broke - again. I would like to have a copy of your DVD and I'll reimburse you the cost of the disk and postage - I assume you are in UK.

I'm learning this form and have found that to see it in slow motion helps me when I am not with my instructor.

Am not sure how I can get my address to you without putting it on public display. Do you know?

  • Allowed? My teacher told me that you can't do it too slow, the slower the more intensiv.

  • There is no definite rules as how fast or slow. It completely depends on individual's spiritual mood. Fast movements become exercise, and slower movement with mind calm and you will feel more relaxed. You can try both ways, fast and slow, and see which speed will fit to you.

  • Condensed from Master Huang "It is not possible to say either practicing fast or slow is correct. It has to base on the level of achievement of the student. As long as the internal and external synchronisation, then the question of slow and fast in practice is unimportant. Consciousness is continuous and is harmonised with movement. All parts of the body are natureal and are unified. There is then no question of being fast or slow. "

  • Hello leonarto,

Would you mind send the DVD with the tai-chi 37movements front view part 1 and part 2.

I tried to save the clip of chuchungwu on my hard disk, but I did'nt succeed.

It would be helpful by daily exercise. Thanks in advance

  • I like the music very much, will you tell me the title of background music? Thanks.

  • carefull with your knees! dont bend the knee inward when u take steps, it will damage your knees and make your position weak.

  • Thank you for posting. I just began learning this today and the video is a helpful reference.
