  • I have this happen to me about 10 times a year and have become much more vigilant about looking for them. If the driver had picked up the sighting at first opportunity in his/her far right peripheral vision they would have been able to come to a complete stop prior to the moose stepping onto the roadway. Bottom line - watch for moose in moose country - it could save the moose & YOU!

  • dam, so close.. maybe next time Viewnyx

  • @101020sarah he was in a transport truck he tried to stop you can see his speed drop as fast a truck with a load can

  • @101020sarah u have got to be kidding ,,, so he breaks or trys to steer away er around it and its likely he will roll his truck ,, u cant stop one of those trucks on a dime there sweetheart ,,,,even a small animal u should never try to stop or steer around it because of the likelyness of getting into an accident :)

I think it's a reaction that we can't reason ourselves out of. We swerve to avoid a chipmunk without realizing.

  • lol the driver clearly tried to hit the moose xD you see him going to the left and after the moose is gone he returns back to the right :D

  • Well at first I thought theat but if you look at the speed ir rapidly decreased from 99 to 66, the swaying was proberly due to the driver breaking suddenly./ but i dont drive so i could be wrong.
