I first came across Winger in the late 1980's when I saw in Brazil a TV commercial ad about a Brazilian cigarette brand called "Hollywood", where the marketing agency used to air these great TV commercials, mixing sports with cigarettes. The original 80's TV commercial Ad video that was aired in Brazil had Winger - Miles Away song from the album "In The Heart Of The Young" playing in the background...those were great times, great memories.
They've ALWAYS rocked, and still do. The shit thing is and what pisses me off is that you'll NEVER see these guys nor any other relevant band that writes their own music on the AMA's. 99 percent of those fucking so called "artists" are getting paid to sing someone else's song, BOTTOM LINE! Fuck that! THIS IS MUSIC, PURE AND HARD ROCKING! TEN THUMBS UP TO WINGER!! KILLER cd!

This new album is brilliant, couldn't stop listening to it when i got it last year when it came out. Amazing guitar work by Reb as usual, guitar solo on the track 'Witness' is just amazing.
Just saw them Sunday at Melodic Rock Fest 2! I always go see them when they are in town! They are the ONLY, and I mean ONLY band that plays it like they wrote it! You won't find a tighter band out there. And Kip - his voice is still as good as ever! If not better as a matter of fact! Rod, Reb, and John - just amazing - everytime! Karma and Pull are their 2 greatest albums from a musical standpoint. Just keeps getting better! Rock on guys! Hope you come back soon!
Musically this is their best album. BUT..As a Christian I cannot get past the lyrics for "Deal with the Devil.Sorry Kip,even if this is a tongue in cheek intention, you lost a fan with just that one song. That's not a subject to joke about or take lightly, and if it's meant in seriousness, then I feel very sorry for you.The rest of the album sounds great, but a bad tree cannot produce good fruit.That one song sinks the whole album for me, and most likely ends my listening to Winger from now on.

I can't see how this song in particular makes Kip a satan worshipper who has sold his soul to the devil. In fact, I think Kip's music is an inspiration to us all, and shows the talent that is God-given. You are free to move on to John Denver, or whoever else meets your litmus test for non-devil music.

Among them, Reb Beach is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music and Rod Morganstein is a graduate of the Univ. of Miami and a current instructor at Berklee and a well-regarded author of various drum instructional books. These guys are sharp musicians, period.
This album is one of the best rock albums ive heard for a long long time! the two best rock albums of this century so far in my opinion are this and whitesnake's "good to be bad" (in which reb played on both!) . Good to see some fucking awsome bands are still going and releasing and kicking the sjit out of crappy modern "bands" like Blink 182, lol pussys.
This band kicked ass.We saw them on the 27th march in belfasts spring and airbrake and last night on the 4th at the 02 academy in islington london. They are rock at its best.

Never really been into Winger but I have to say this album is nothing but excellent. The song "Pull Me Under" is especially good. One of the best albums of the year.

There's an interview on Kip's Myspace that features full versions of Deal W/ Devil and Stone Cold Killer. DWD has a cool bridge that features Kip hitting some notes reminiscent of Battle Stations and the Space Truckin' cover. The old man's still got it that's for sure!

I am sooo excited about this album. I like every song I've heard so far but especially love Witness - beautiful melody and lyrics. Also loving the keys on Pull Me Under and the chorus of Big World Away. Have to keep going to Kip's Myspace to get my fix of the samples. Hope he puts some more up soon. Then BW&BK posted something about the new album, and since I now know of Reb Beach through Whitesnake, I did a bit of digging.
I wasn't too impressed by the few older tracks I found but I heard 4 tracks from the new album on a UK radio station last week - awesome!

I am sooo excited about this album. I like every song I've heard so far but especially love Witness - beautiful melody and lyrics. Also loving the keys on Pull Me Under and the chorus of Big World Away. Have to keep going to Kip's Myspace to get my fix of the samples. Hope he puts some more up soon. October can't get here fast enough!

This sounds great. Much like their "IV" cd but this the CD that has a mix of "In Heart of the Young" and "Pull".

These guys are so underrated. The goofy stuff in the videos from the first two albums are what kinda doomed these guys. The music has always been outfreakingstanding.
