It's the strangest thing. That MTV live accoustic version of You, where he really sings it, shows he has a great live vocal, not just manipulated by the producers. Since I heard that Ive been looking for other live performances from Ten Sharp, but again and again I run into these playback versions. So sad, when he has such a incredibly beautiful voice. But I guess it was just normal to do back then. (Dont know if it still is, but there's certainly more focus on it now!)

I can't believe how expressive he is miming over a playback. Great song however, was Ten Sharp popular in England? I was in Switzerland at the time in 1992, came back to the UK and heard nothing about them!

Yes I agree, Miming just isnt a good idea. I'd rather hear the artist sing it different or a bit crap than just hear the recording. Whats the point pretending to do a live performance when you could quite easily do it just as easily for real and not look like a tit.

Marcel looks slightly retarded miming. Too bad because this is a great song. And i do hope that it´s the studio light setup that causes hes tongue to look like it´s heavily infested with fungus.

But i can honestly say that the album "Under The Waterline" (1992) is a masterpiece.
