  • I've sat in many 737s, MD-83s, CRJs, and 757s. My favorite is probably the MD!

Airlines don't care about what u get in college, as long you get 4 years and required hours of flight time+ licenses and your medical.

  • @bigbrad88 bull shit. FAA doesn't allow anyone in the cockpit unless they are crew for that or another airline.

  • jesus at the time the arrival from OED must have been the MOXEE2 arrival, now the MOXEE6 lol

  • The captain is really cool in this video. There are some pilots who won't explain even during line training. He is a gentleman infact.

  • Cool video, nice pilot.

  • nice pilot

  • Isn't that the left engine throttle that he says is the "horn"?

  • I've seen lots of kids say they couldn't get to see the cockpit since 9/11. I think it depends on the crew though. I just watched a little girl get to go up there as we were boarding on a flight from Orlando to Houston a few weeks ago. When the door is wide open as you board, it's fair game. It's probably just a question of whether the Captain wants to be bothered. Granted, I'm sure she didn't get to sit in the FO seat though. That was a really nice Captain in this video.

  • is that an MD-90 or a DC-9?

  • 737

  • @xfernydrummerX 737 Classic

  • Lovely!

  • Hello, I am Tina! I'm 21 now!.. and I can't BELIEVE this video is on here.. and that you ppl are watching it! LOL

  • hhahaha, good joke!

    NOT"

  • Ok,am I the only one who thinks that the pilot looks like steve martin?

  • lmfao

  • This is from when flying use to be flying.

  • Or from when flying used to be fun.

I think it still is outside the US for the most part, but the TSA has really killed it here.

  • LOL the 'horn' :-P

  • LOLZZ, this flight was LAX to PDX. Not BOS. XD

  • You are absolutely correct, it was on a "trip" from Boston to Portland, which took us through Las Vegas, to LA, then to Portland. A very long day...

  • they still let u on some airlines, i got to go in the cockpit of a 737 on Southwest airlines for a long time, it was so fun and that was in 2006

  • MACGYVER!!!

  • im too scare to asck to see the cockpit because they will not like me because im indian

  • i think since 9/11 they have not allowed any outsiders to enter the flight deck, so it kinda sucks...

but once, when i was a youngin, i got to sit with the captain of an Alitalia flight... for about 10 mins. those were the days where people trusted one another!

  • you are more likely to be able to visit the cockpit after the flight has ended.

  • drop by my channel sometime people.

    --thanks--

  • ojala todos los pilotos fuesen asi de simpaticos

  • OMG The captain is mcgyver!!!!

  • oh ic pineappleboy... ty

  • looks like you have to be tall as hell to see over the cockpit and be within reach of all them controls!

  • well i got to fly jumpseat all the way to atlanta from pittsburgh and im sixteen maybe cuz your a girl lol

  • woah i never knew planes had horns.

  • oh, they got.. and many f them is extreamly LOUD

  • are you that dumb?

  • uh that was a joke about hte horns. that was a warning signal cos he puched the thrust lever forward.

  • What song is this?

  • i want to be there someday .just love the industry .

  • I'm 16 and a girl, yet they still don't let me in the cockpit (thanks to 9/11--sarcasm), and that's just one of my dreams, hopefully I'll work there someday.

  • that was nice of the cap! kinda reminds me of mcgyver

  • Thats a cool pilot

  • aha i still ask to go in the cockpit and they let me go... I even have a chat with the pilots for a little while... and i'm 17!! aha... I really like it

  • haha i still have kids asking if they can see the cockpit

  • Yes this is either the 737- 300 400 or 500

  • This is a dumb question..but..is there a horn on a 737?????

  • hahahah. no man come on:p

  • yeah man...sorry..only farmiliar with cessna's

  • looks like a 737.

    maybe a 400 or 500 series

  • i think it is 707

  • looks like a 737.

    maybe a 400 or 500 series

  • Wow This is really great. Too bad we can't do this anymore. Damn terrorist. Now a days a 10 year old girl walks into the cockpit and we are forced to think she has a damn bomb straped to her and wants to fly the plane into the white house. I am glad this little girl got such a great expirence.

  • When I was little I went onto the flight deck of a 747-100. The pilots showed me everything there was which is why I'm a pilot today. Just before I went back to my seat I told the pilots this was the first time I've been on a 747 and the FO said me too. LOL

  • Mind if I ask u, if I took sport science instead of physics, can I still be an airline pilot?

  • you can study anything you want and still be an airline pilot. All that matters is you have a 4 year degree.

  • I thought it was funny when captain ******* asked the kid where they were going. I would of said we're going to HNL!

  • Honolulu!!!

  • it sucks after 911 they won't let u do that any more thx do those terrorists

  • I asked a piolet b4 hes like sit down kid im like wtf i was like 8 lol

  • very cool

  • They were tied up and gagged in the lavatory. The little she-devil who was taping this got the pilot too shortly after this was filmed.

  • where was the co pilot/ first officer?

  • capitan becuse the first officer would have been wraping up all the pre fligth checks.

  • It's genuine things like this that make me support certain airlines over others. I myself have had some real genuine moments with United Crew, even though they have gotten a lot of crap in the past. Go United Airlines!

  • United 737-500? Great Video and what the captain did was very nice. The flihgt was LAX-Portland?

  • Yes it was a United 737 from LAX to PDX. I didn't even know she was doing this until I reviewed the video a few days later at home. Yes - the captain was great to do this...

  • That was great for the captain to explain things the way he did. Many times we don't have the time to be able to get into much detail but I always enjoy when a kid comes up and asks questions.

  • that was really cool, I wish I went inside a cockpit and got an interview like that....

  • That was nice of the captain to allow you to do that. Thumbs up CPT!

  • Nice Bro you should make some more videos on this.
