some parts hurt like the elbows. very much. between the inner forearms and biceps, it hurts pretty much, but less than the elbows. elbows was the most painful for me. I wouldn't recommend you to do it.

I felt i must do it. it's hard to explain. in life, certain things you just gotta do it. it's like it's part of your journey and you gotta do it to feel you have achieved something. it's a way of self expression, i needed to be different of regular people.

@MsGoofyboy The pain of the outline feels like someone scratching sharp nail over the top of the skin. Can be extremely painful in the inner-parts of the arm. The shading doesnt hurt nearly as bad as the small needles are spread out, rather than almost like one BIG needle like the outline. His tattoo would hurt simply because its like 80 percent black, black has to be really packed into the skin.

Dont feel like you have to have an exact meaning to get tattoo'd. Get something you like!

There are some great artists in like Greece and Turkey that makes awesome tattoos and doesn't cost as much.

I have finished the koi but haven't upload anything so far. Will make a new video once it's all finished. I need to colour the koi and shade some waves. The shading of the koi is black and grey with some orange outlines. Good luck with yours.

Thanks for the prompt reply. At this stage I'm really procrastinating between black and grey or color. I'm a fairly tanned person I really like the black and red on the Cherry Blossoms they look very nice together with the black back ground something that I would do, but with the Koi fish I don't know what color most probably red aswell but I really don't want to over power the red on the koi. I'm getting something very similar to yours my tattoo artist has already draw it up.

Regarding colors, it really depends on your taste. Some colors can be a good combination cos they stand out (black and red for instance). But again, it's really personal.

Take your time to find an artist where you have full trust and a good connexion with him/her.

To me, getting a tattoo is not like buying a pair of shoes. The tattoo artist becomes also your friend or someone close to you for life, especially if it's a big piece you get done.
