Maruyama and Teramoto, both of them went to IBU,But, somebody knows if they were in the same period(Ex: Teramoto 3nensei while Maruyama was 1nensei).Did they??
Wow Butokuden Dojo had the honour of having Teramoto Sensei in for a Keiko Session? Amazing.
I loved S. Maruyams performance against Teramoto (like against Eiga and on the other time against Teramoto on the Detroit Taikai) and also the fight of Mr. Yokoyama wich showed of some nice Jodan.
With the first few people he had keiko with, maybe he toned it down a bit but against Ariga Sensei I don't think he held back. Either way, they got to have keiko with him which is something not too many people outside of Japan can say they've had.
The biggest advantage of Teramoto Sensei is that he used every inch of that shinai.
