My friend was unable to get the Lost Cylinder datacron without having completed some sort of quest. I have no idea which.

@AvengerXP His mission log was full. No missions are required for any Datacron other than the Endurance one on Voss

@AvengerXP You have to do the area quest in order to get that datacron. I had the same issue.

The second datacron (+2 Cunning, 1:15) I can't get to because the Balmorran Arms Factory area is locked out (red walled) to me. I already did the bounty hunter class quest that involved that area. Am I locked out forever? I noticed the character you're using in this video is also a bounty hunter, had you done the class quest already?

@meleechampion Yessir I had, I don't recall where the bounty hunter quest entrance is, but it shouldn't interfere with the datacron. I'll check later this evening (morning?) for the BH entrance if you haven't found it by then

The last one you need a key to open stays open for 5 min. And the box next to the vender uses another code she sells (8k) and gives you 2 items to break your matrix shard relic down back into crystals. The same one that cost 8k on Tatooine.

Ok went back last night after the patch, and this time was able to purchase that cylinder. I made it up another lvl killing all those bugs in that area as well.

Ok you must have to be either a specific lvl or have done some quest for that last one. I found that vendor but that lost code cylinder was not on the purchase list. Only thing I saw on the list were the typical stims and medpacs.

@Becvar80 Ok which lvl is that? I was sent to Balmorra at lvl 18, and have made it up to lvl 21 while there. I am now being sent to Nar Shadaa. I was just hoping to get all of the datacrons before I left the planet. Meh, guess I will be going back.

And no the one in the Assembly Line is not the one i ment. There is one you go over a large set of pipes you walk over to another area and the Datacron is there so honestly he missed to of the Datacrons on this video!

Ok, I couldn't get the datacron because I had to complete a quest first. I spent 5k for lost cylinder key, but couldn't get datacron. What quest am I supposed to complete?

@masonb Did you have a lot of active quests? If your quest log is full, you can't pick them up. There are no quest requirements to pick up Datacrons.

How do I get to BugTown as empire? Ive done all the quests in Balmorra, and havent discovered it, is it an republc only town ? or both ? sorry this last datacron the bugtown one has got me stumped

@mrtypr No worries. I'm actually Empire myself, so all these videos are from the Empire perspective. I actually mention in the video that you have to head far out to the west to Vanguard Outpost. That allows you to travel there.
