Franken was a comedian and writer for a groundbreaking show which actually helped define modern Amercian Political satire. Ventura was a former pro-wrestler who believes 9/11 was a conspiracy.  Enough said. The voters of Minnesota seemd to have redeemed themselves quite well and are lucky to have Franken representing them.

Franken highlights very well the problems of medicine "for profit." The incentives are AGAINST WELLNESS, and AGAINST PATIENT INTERESTS, and for unreasonable profits.
