  • just came here from some noob who's bulletin was on my homepage, the noob is called newyorkoutlaws he makes this awful modern music on a korg radias. i am so happy to see this beautiful vintage music that you make on a good vintage synth. i will keep listening to this, it makes me forget about the horrible music that is popular these days. the only thing that makes me more relaxed and feel good than this is making music by myself. thumbs up for you!

  • @mikak3607 Nice to hear that man! unfortunately i have sold my juno-6, don´t get me wrong, it so nice synth, but im feeling i want a monosynth right now, it fits better in my music at the moment. something like old cs-series or modern moog lp. There might be more retropeak songs coming, but i have to use software and samples, see if i cant get close to the original.

  • where do you live? i found a good condition juno 6 on the internet for 490 euros

  • @PrinceofGuitars I think it is good price. i got mine for 500e.

  • well done.

  • I'm pretty sure this isn't your song... I've heard it before

  • Very nice track.

  • what do you think of Juno 60? Why did you choose Juno 6 instead?

  • Reminds me of some of Kenny Chou's stuff in a positive manner. :>

  • Question: did you just run the juno through a sampler and then piece it together like that?

I'm thinking of getting a DCB-to-MIDI converter... but if sampling makes it this easy... I might try that, what would you suggest?

  • Did anyone else think it was gonna break into the start of "We Are Your Friends" by Justice and Simian?

  • @badboyrhythmdub yes - sounds like it doesnt it?

  • Well done

  • This is effing awesome.

  • I'm impressed, wish I had the same talent :) /Proud Juno 6 owner

  • @obergo Thanks man! too bad my juno is not in very good condition right now :/

  • Okay sorry to hear that.. mine works perfect except that the LFO trigger button is down

  • @obergo Yeah, see my video. maybe i get other juno it that is too hard to fix.

  • You do that :) Which video?

  • @obergo See my channel. looks like juno works ok sometimes. some problem with power i think.

  • Awesome, this is how you use a Juno 6!

  • This music is fine!

I like your idea: get a good vintage synth, record samples and loops from its sounds, and make nice improvisative tracks with these!

    Congratulations!

I'm very angry and sad, because I sold my Juno 60 and Jsq60 seq. Grrr! Your videos cause this feeling to me! :)

  • Great!!

Did you record all tracks without midi, dcb, cv/gate or other??

  • @myrmur There is no midi-retrofit on my juno, played by hand, some sounds are just loop, for drums i used sampler, all samples are from my juno.

  • I can't manage to get a kick drum like this out of my Juno60... Any directions on how to do this??

  • @ec101dm Just some basic sound, saw i think, i used some eq and compressor to boost up more power.

  • Very nice track, great sounding Juno !!!

  • Awesome! I also have a juno-6 :)

  • I LOVE IT ! SOOOOO 80S !!!

  • Great feel and a classic synth!!!!!

  • I´m happy that you like it! I hade fun making it.

  • Awesome !!!!!
