Msharvell: Go on You Tube and watch a video[I didn't name this video] -- "Man attacks Lion and tickles his nuts" -- This lion is bigger than the Siberian Tiger you have in your video. @nomadlion1985 That's not true.... Siberian tigers have long been known as the largest cats on earth. Tigers in general are bigger than lions. A female tiger may be smaller than a male lion, but if they're the same sex, the tiger is almost always bigger.
@tonyfressola I guarantee you haven't. Tigers are a larger species. This isn't about some silly preference you have for one animal over another, it's just fact.

The Alaskan Grizzly Bear and the Polar Bear are the top predators in land. They can weight two ore more times the Siberian Tiger weight. They body can reach about 150% the Siberian Tiger body's length. So I don't think the Siberian Tiger is the top predator even on land. =p
@thanatos8618 You do know that Plants make up approximately 80%–90% of a grizzly bears’ diet... right? A better predator? Dude, Tigers are fast, agile and powerful. The grizzly...Well its not THAT fast, not THAT agile and is it powerful? Yes they're big a strong animals But tigers are clearly better predators.
@nico2710 What do you mean with "better predators"? More success in catching they prey than the two cited bears or that a tiger would kill a Kodiak or a Polar Bear? If it was the first option, I definitely agree with you. If was the second option, you should be really crazy. These animals are about two times stronger than tigers. They also have a VERY thick layer of fat that makes difficult for tiger's claws and fangs reach bear's flesh. An attack from bear's claws would be lethal to the tiger.
@thanatos8618 Listen champ, Tigers are pure predators. The grizzly or the Kodiak arent. Simple as that. Its not about which animal can kill each other in a fight. Of course a 1200ibs kodiak can kill a 800ibs sib. No doubt. But Siberian tigers DO hunt and EAT Russian grizzlies. Big tigers are known to hunt and kill bears the same size. Do not mix it up. I really dont care about who with win if a bear attacked a siberian tiger.
@nico2710 I think you also confused Grizzly Bear with Kodiak Bear (A.K.A. Alaskan Grizzly Bear). Yes...they both are omnivorous, different from the Polar Bear which is exclusively carnivorous, but the Kodiak Bear's main food is the Salmon. About 50% of a Kodiak's diet is vegetal, yeah...but it still a predator, and a top one, since the Kodiak Bear doens't have ANY animal which prey on it.
Also the "900lbs" on the title is an exaggeration, since no known tiger had reached such weight.
@thanatos8618 I don't think they're necessarily talking about the size of the animal. Tigers are insanely strong and agile and can take down enormous prey for their size. I think he just means they're great hunters. Grizzly bears eat more salmon than anything else...
Top predator on earth? Nope. You need to look up info on sharks. There has always been Great Whites, befor humans, befor dinosaurs, befor there was even dry land. Meaning in millions of years they did not need to evolve at all, kind of crazy if you look at all the changes most animals go through in 100 years. My money is on them for the top spot.
It's probably rare for a Tiger to even get over 700lbs. A big Kodiak Bear can easily weigh 1,800lbs. A Kodiak would demolish a Siberian Tiger with that size advantage.
900lb tiger is an extreme claim. if that is so please note some male polar bears have been estimated to be as heavy as 1700lbs. a polar bear is much much larger than any tiger but i believe they are not considered to be land animals at all, since they spend there life on ice or in the sea.
Most Polar bears don't get over 1,000 pounds, but if you want to get technical, some Ligers are rated at 12,50 lb's - as high as the record holding 1,759lb Liger
@SecularTechnology PART 1 "Most Polar bears don't get over 1,000 pounds, but if you want to get technical, some Ligers are rated at 12,50 lb's - as high as the record holding 1,759lb Liger"
Hello, I'm Darren, I have a zoology PhD and have studied polar bears in the wild....in regard to what you say above...
- quite the contrary....a mature male polar bear is unlikely to be UNDER 1000 lbs unless it has fasted for an extended period. I have weighed many myself...CONT.
....mature males in and around Churchill commonly exceed 1300 lbs at peak times, the larger males exceed 1500 lbs and several individuals exceeding the range of the scale (800 kg - 1763 lbs) encountered on occasion.
- 'some' ligers do indeed attain the weights you state, but even those hybrids are normally under 800 lbs, the upper weights you state are for obese and morbidly obese specimens....CONT.
- I am rather disappointed with the data and claims made in this video, they are far beyond actual measurements. As for any tiger subspecies being the ultimate predator, well ultimate is a subjective term, but in terms of size and power - if only you witnessed for yourself the sheer size and bulk of a mature adult male polar bear in the wild (captive males are almost always not comparable in size whatsoever), perhaps then you may change your view....
I said Liger, didn't I? That doesn't contradict anything to me. And I don't believe I ever said that most polar bears ever get over 1,000 lbs, unless you know something, that I don't.
@SecularTechnology "I said Liger, didn't I? That doesn't contradict anything to me. And I don't believe I ever said that most polar bears ever get over 1,000 lbs, unless you know something, that I don't."
- What ? the comment in question is WRITTEN right HERE ! Just LOOK for it !!!
"Most Polar bears don't get over 1,000 pounds, but if you want to get technical, some Ligers are rated at 12,50 lb's - as high as the record holding 1,759lb Liger"
@SecularTechnology Are you not able to read words on a page before your eyes ? My point was about POLAR BEARS, something you know making this comment inexplicable !.....read the DIRECT contradiction again (this time keep reminding yourself that I am talking about the POLAR BEAR contradiction.....
"Most Polar bears don't get over 1,000 pounds, but if you want to get technical, some Ligers are rated at 12,50 lb's - as high as the record holding 1,759lb Liger"
Are you stupid? If there's a contradiction put specifically what the contradiction is instad of just quoting text. I said most polar bears don't weigh over 1,000 lb's. Later I said, I know what size polar bears get. WOW CONTRADICTION!!!!! YOU ARE SO GOOD!!!!!!!!.......
@SecularTechnology "Are you stupid? If there's a contradiction put specifically what the contradiction is instad of just quoting text. I said most polar bears don't weigh over 1,000 lb's. Later I said, I know what size polar bears get. WOW CONTRADICTION!!!!! YOU ARE SO GOOD!!!!!!!!......."
- Ignoring the inane and superfluous aspects of this comment, well done for finally unravelling your own confused state and revealing to yourself your own contradiction (tone taken in response to yours)...
@SecularTechnology How can you not see the contradiction ? After I pointed it all out you then said this "I said most polar bears don't weigh over 1,000 lb's. Later I said, I know what size polar bears get"....are you now saying that you dont know that this is a contradiction ? i.e. the information I gave you regarding polar bear size and weight....are you saying you disagree ? or have you forgotten from moments ago that you even made this comment !? (a quite incredible occurrence if you have !)
Now I see that you are a little confused. You assumed I was speaking in reguards to the information you commented. I have seen several sources that adult male polar bears average 900 lbs. I wasn't agreeing with what you wrote earlier, and I wasn't really disagreeing either; I wasn't even keeping that in mind. The comment I wrote was replying to the comment you made about how if I saw the polar bear in person I might have thought differently.
@bluevideos12 bears maybe stronger, but strength means little without skill.. there are many animals and humans that are stronger than others, but it has very little to do with winning or losing in a fight..
@bluevideos12 , Dude a full grown male grizzley is the worlds most amazing killer. A while ago there was an asain vid of a small grizzly bear and large tiger in a cage together just to see them fight. the bear went up on its back legs and came down like a freaking God on the larger tiger. He made short work of the fight. Look it up. I am sure its out there. It was not close and it was a very small bear that might have weighed 600lbs.
Cat fans dont underestimate bears. You denie creatures that drag whales and are big as two tigers(polar bears).Bears are on the top of the food chain in the mamal world
evolution happens over millions of years, tigers are still evolving, all life is evolving, it just happens over a huuuuge amount of time. and thats just retarted to think that the world was created 5000 years ago...
only retarded people spell retarded with a t near the end. Hence the rest of your statement is...well....retarded! go check out double helix dna. Look down deeper past the cellular level. There is obvious design by an extremely intelligent being. It takes much much more faith to believe in evolution because of the many many gaps and inconsistencies. Creation fits like a glove with true science! Do you know how far off carbon dating can be on the same sample?
The scientific reality of the DNA double helix can single-handedly defeat any theory that assumes life arose from non-life through materialistic forces. Evolution theory has convinced many people that the design in our world is just the result of random, natural processes. With the sequencing of the DNA molecule, we now understand that organic life is based on vastly complex information code, and such information cannot be created or interpreted without a Master Designer at the cosmic keyboard.
No "Master Designer" could have come up with the entirety of this world, and the billions of other planets in the Universe. It's all happenstance and evolution. Things could have gone any of an infinite number of possibly ways, and it just so happens our planet's evolutionary strand went this way.
Wow, that was impressive. Replacing "phar" with "butt" like that, and using "phar" later.. I'm stunned. I don't know if I can come back from that.
Dude, you have to understand that evolution takes anywhere from tens of thousands of years to tens of millions of years. Stuff just doesn't explode and happen to come out working perfectly, and if you believe that's what evolution is, then you're seriously misguided.
Go lick your Master Designer's butt. Oh wait... you can't.
the amur/siberian gets alittle over 800.. and yes i believe that this cat could kill kodiak or polars. it doesnt matter even one of his smaller cousins like a bengal (500-600 lbs) cats are unmatched
people people we are talking about tigers not lion, bears , no one can compare the true power of the real king the tiger ! you cannot scape from the power of the tigers on water, or on land ,
I did read about a brown bear killing two tigers. I did not know that it was a kodiak. What probably happened is the kodiak was trying to steal the tiger's kill. I would think ordinarilly, the tiger would protest but would not fight a large kodiak head on which would be suicide. The tiger in both cases may have gotten brave.
thats exactly what would happen, unfortunately youtube is full of retards that think the lion is the king of the jungle and they think a bear is as agile and skilled as a feline.. fucking retards..
uh thats the most ignorant thing to say. A siberian tiger can easily leap 10 meters..all that force would knock over a polar bear and the tiger would take the polar bears back, bite down on the neck and kill it..
If you look in Wikipedia they do and also Ligers don't exist in nature i.e. are like test tube freaks and probably wouldn't survive because of their dimensions.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
when the female lions are fighting a male its not for long because as soon as he asserts his dominance they follow. if they didnt give a fuck about needing a male to reproduce with they could tare him down, in the end 6 lioness would destroy 1 lion. and it would take more than 1 lion to beat 1 tiger. but they are in different parts of the world.
actually a lion could beat this tiger because a big tiger like this could not handle more than 3 female lions and a male lion could take on more than 6 feamles
Any Tiger that weighs 900 lbs would fuck up most bears I don't give a damn whether it's a Girzzly Bear, Polar Bear, et al. Bears don't move as well while fighting as cats do. Bears claws ar not as sharp their design is for simple digging. Tiger claws are sharp and dig the fuck in hard. Ever seen the vid with the Land Rover on Safari with the Lion claw puncture holes and rips in the door? The freakin METAL door? Get a grip bear worshippers. lol fuck please.
In any head on fight beetween a brown bear and a big cat at the same weight, the bear will come out on top and rip the cat to shreds,A Polar Bear will toss a tiger around like a ragdoll
sorry but that is wrong. Felines are much more agile than bears. Siberian tigers once preyed on the brown bears of Russia, a polar bear would just be a larger meal.
tigers stay away from brown bears as far as possible, they only consider them as prey, when theyre much smaller or hybernating, the rest is myth and stupid propaganda, you obviously dont know how powerful and agile bears can be, an adult vs adult head on, no chance for the tiger.
And a Polar bear would crush the tigers skull in two half with one blow
siberian tiger weigh 390 to 675 but some reached 710 and one tiger weighed 850 in the wild in siberia and the heaviest is one in capitivity weighing 1025.
tha siberian tiger is top cause it kills the biggest animals for example this one tiger killed a bull elephant and it was called death by 1000 claws but only happens in a life time but u get the point also this tiger kill adult brown bears by ambush that take skill the tiger is no joke.
first of all there are no records of amur tigers weighing 850 lbs. The average is around 500. & yes you are right but then again if it is an ambush then it wouldnt even be considered a fight.
@tens42, there are reports of tigers weighing 850lbs but they are rare. And don't forget Saber-toothed tigers once existed. You wouldn't even want to mess with them.
@rcfreak7777 Siberian tigers often eat Russian brown bears which are thought to be the ancestors of grizzlies. There have been cases of the tigers being killed by the bears as well though. I'd say it'd be an even enough matchup but the tiger would probably have the edge. en(.)wikipedia(.)org/wiki/Ussuri_Brown_Bear
Wrong!! The American Lion is The Top Predator, and I'm NOT referring to the Mountain Lion (Puma, Cougar); this Lion Species existed during the ice age period 10, 000 years ago. You guys can look it up on youtube.
It was a whale and nothing more. Cats are cats, and dogs are dogs. Nothing more nothing less. Some might be larger, smaller, and have diffrent looks, but nothing changes beyond the micro level.
The brown bear is the most dominant animal alive today. It may not be the best at hunting, but in a death fight nothing alive could stop a full grown grizzly.
Tigers both amur and the larger siberian tigers can and do take smaller brown AND black bears, usually smaller females. These are not to be confused with Kodiac bears.Tigers are stealth hunters and kill with a bite to the neck.Large kodiacs are incredibly agile andhave immense strength far far greater than any tiger.Kodiac bears in the 19th were often baited by cruel showmen, tired of using bulls, began to import both tigers and lions and in all cases the bear won instantly.
There has never been a verified record of a siberian tiger over 750lb. of the Tigers monitored regulary in asia none are thought to be over 600lbs.Hunters are nototrious exagerators and would often take measurements of stretched skins or include the tail in the animals length. As for bears, male Kodiacs- the largest of the brown subspecies regulary exceed 1000lb in weight and 1200lb specimens have been verified.male polars are larger again with 1500lb animals verified.
There really are some prize idiots posting on here. This is another example of sensational documentary making and before quoting wikipedia or making bullshit up about what animal can kill what why dont you actually read up on natural history or watch BBC/Discovery channel docs like Planet Earth rather than shite like this.Male Siberian tigers grow to a maximum 10-11 ft in length, have a tail of 3ft and weigh on average 450-500lbs with occasional verified weights of shot tigers up to 750lb.
"Until human beings devised weapons for themselves, this WAS the most powerful killer on Earth, the top predator." Are you people fucking deaf or retarded?
"hich predator out there is the top? Bear? Tiger? Lion? Gorilla? Leopard? "
Top of what? They don;t all live together. They can be top in different environments. But gorillas are not a predator at all. And leopards are much smaller than lions and tigers
Human beings are not natural predators living in the wild, "bro". And last I checked, they aren't born with guns in hand. A gun is a manufactured weapon, not part of human anatomy and therefore not part of a human's natural-born ability. Unless you can fire bullets out of your ass, of course
Now there's an intelligent comment. Imbecile? You're the one who posted hehehehehee, laughing at his own stupid comments. Let's stick you in a cage with a tiger without a gun or anything but what you were born with. Then we'll see how much of a top predator in nature you are.
Ooo, how scaaaaaary. A faggot with a gun obsession, to compensate for his tiny dick.
Faggot? You're the one talking about firing your dick in my ass. That;s about as faggot as it gets, homo boy. Youre STILL talking about sticking things up my butt. I don;t care how much of a faggot you are. but you can't have my ass. Just go wave your rainbow flag somewhere quietly and I'm sure you'll find a nice boyfriend who'll let you put things up his ass
the name normaly fealines Top Predator cus they way they hunt and kill. and they can hunt alot of diffrent animals. But now only cus they are top predator doesent mean they will kill any animals on eart, wich some ppl are confused with here in youtube. a polar bear is largest carnivur on earth. But still fealines mantain the throne. For ex: the big short faced bear whas big but it normaly stealed meat from other predator that are susccesful hunting as the fealines.
Actually, i work in a zoo in France and i see lions anf tigers everydays so im not a scientist but my knowledges don't come from men who fantasmes in you tube.

I really dont care about who with win if a bear attacked a siberian tiger.
nico2710 1 year ago
@nico2710 Like I said before. No doubt that great felines like Tiger and Lions have more success in praying animals than any bear. =)
thanatos8618 1 year ago
@nico2710 I think you also confused Grizzly Bear with Kodiak Bear (A.K.A. Alaskan Grizzly Bear). Yes...they both are omnivorous, different from the Polar Bear which is exclusively carnivorous, but the Kodiak Bear's main food is the Salmon. About 50% of a Kodiak's diet is vegetal, yeah...but it still a predator, and a top one, since the Kodiak Bear doens't have ANY animal which prey on it.
Also the "900lbs" on the title is an exaggeration, since no known tiger had reached such weight.
thanatos8618 1 year ago
@thanatos8618 I don't think they're necessarily talking about the size of the animal. Tigers are insanely strong and agile and can take down enormous prey for their size. I think he just means they're great hunters. Grizzly bears eat more salmon than anything else...

Top predator on earth? Nope. You need to look up info on sharks. There has always been Great Whites, befor humans, befor dinosaurs, befor there was even dry land. Meaning in millions of years they did not need to evolve at all, kind of crazy if you look at all the changes most animals go through in 100 years. My money is on them for the top spot.

900lb tiger is an extreme claim. if that is so please note some male polar bears have been estimated to be as heavy as 1700lbs. a polar bear is much much larger than any tiger but i believe they are not considered to be land animals at all, since they spend there life on ice or in the sea.

@SecularTechnology PART 2
....mature males in and around Churchill commonly exceed 1300 lbs at peak times, the larger males exceed 1500 lbs and several individuals exceeding the range of the scale (800 kg - 1763 lbs) encountered on occasion.
- 'some' ligers do indeed attain the weights you state, but even those hybrids are normally under 800 lbs, the upper weights you state are for obese and morbidly obese specimens....CONT.

@SecularTechnology PART 3
- I am rather disappointed with the data and claims made in this video, they are far beyond actual measurements. As for any tiger subspecies being the ultimate predator, well ultimate is a subjective term, but in terms of size and power - if only you witnessed for yourself the sheer size and bulk of a mature adult male polar bear in the wild (captive males are almost always not comparable in size whatsoever), perhaps then you may change your view....
nordhorny 10 months ago

No, I know the sized that Polar bears get, They appear larger than a Tiger. You're right about bulk, and shere size.

@SecularTechnology How can you not see the contradiction ? After I pointed it all out you then said this "I said most polar bears don't weigh over 1,000 lb's. (a quite incredible occurrence if you have !)
nordhorny 10 months ago
@nordhorny
Now I see that you are a little confused. You assumed I was speaking in reguards to the information you commented. I have seen several sources that adult male polar bears average 900 lbs. megaman8923 1 year ago 2
only retarded people spell retarded with a t near the end.
GeorgiaPatriot41 1 year ago
even so the tiger hasn´t changed for 10.000 years (or 5.000 years if u r a creationist) but man keeps on evolving.
Desinokara 2 years ago
The scientific reality of the DNA double helix can single-handedly defeat any theory that assumes life arose from non-life through materialistic forces. Evolution theory has convinced many people that the design in our world is just the result of random, natural processes. With the sequencing of the DNA molecule, we now understand that organic life is based on vastly complex information code, and such information cannot be created or interpreted without a Master Designer at the cosmic keyboard.
GeorgiaPatriot41 1 year ago
No "Master Designer" could have come up with the entirety of this world, and the billions of other planets in the Universe. It's all happenstance and evolution. Things could have gone any of an infinite number of possibly ways, and it just so happens our planet's evolutionary strand went this way.
pharlik 1 year ago
Yesterday there was an explosion at the steel plant and out popped a perfectly working ROLEX.
You should change your screen name to buttlik. It would be phar more appropriate.
GeorgiaPatriot41 1 year ago
Wow, that was impressive. Replacing "phar" with "butt" like that, and using "phar" later.. I'm stunned. I don't know if I can come back from that.
Dude, you have to understand that evolution takes anywhere from tens of thousands of years to tens of millions of years. Stuff just doesn't explode and happen to come out working perfectly, and if you believe that's what evolution is, then you're seriously misguided.
Go lick your Master Designer's butt. Oh wait... you can't.

A Russian biologist wrote in an international science journal on how TWO Siberian tigers were killed by a Kodiak bear. Google it.
MasterHustler 2 years ago
I did read about a brown bear killing two tigers. I did not know that it was a kodiak. What probably happened is the kodiak was trying to steal the tiger's kill. I would think ordinarilly, the tiger would protest but would not fight a large kodiak head on which would be suicide. The tiger in both cases may have gotten brave.
Gazelle53 2 years ago
a 900 lb (cat) would make sport of any bear. bear has extra weight because a 3rd of its body is fat. cats rarely get fat in the wild.

uh thats the most ignorant thing to say. A siberian tiger can easily leap 10 meters..all that force would knock over a polar bear and the tiger would take the polar bears back, bite down on the neck and kill it..

when the female lions are fighting a male its not for long because as soon as he asserts his dominance they follow. if they didnt give a fuck about needing a male to reproduce with they could tare him down, in the end 6 lioness would destroy 1 lion. and it would take more than 1 lion to beat 1 tiger. but they are in different parts of the world.

Tigers both amur and the larger siberian tigers can and do take smaller brown AND black bears, usually smaller females. These are not to be confused with Kodiac bears.Tigers are stealth hunters and kill with a bite to the neck.Large kodiacs are incredibly agile andhave immense strength far far greater than any tiger.Kodiac bears in the 19th were often baited by cruel showmen, tired of using bulls, began to import both tigers and lions and in all cases the bear won instantly.
lifeonloop 2 years ago
