@omnivorous65 Good point. I was working for a small-town type newspaper when Palin was chosen and spoke at the GOP convention and i so i had to write an item about her. It was clear from the beginning that she had not been clearly vetted by the McCain campaign as stories about her daughter's pregnancy came to the surface almost immediately.

Schmidt is right: Palin at the helm of the GOP ticket would be catastrophic for the Republicans.

Palin is as mentally strong as Joe Biden at a Mensa conference, she can not form an original point (that makes sense).
