what he is playing is not hard to do... sorry I play guitar, bass and piano... what he is doing is second year guitar work. nothing complicated, just alternate struming, pulm muting, and left hand string muting. the beginning is just slap plick, easy to do and a basic on bass.
Sorry, he ok, but not that great and it's sad when people who are much better artist are over looked for poeple that are pushed into the spot light.

what he is playing is not hard to do... sorry I play guitar, bass and piano... what he is doing is second year guitar work. nothing complicated, just alternate struming, pulm muting, and left hand string muting. the beginning is just slap plick, easy to do and a basic on bass.
Sorry, he ok, but not that great and it's sad when people who are much better artist are over looked for poeple that are pushed into the spot light.
Search Justin King. He's does something speacil witht the giutar.

That's some standart stuff every averrage guitarist has to learn.
I like his music, but "pwning on guitar" is something very different. At least one who faces the facts like I do. ^^
Steve Vai for example, one of my favorites.

The smoke on the water riff is doable within the first 10 minutes of picking up a guitar for the first time. that doesnt mean it doesnt sound good

I agree with you on some terms, but second year guitar work? That's not true, unless you are like an einstein on guitar or something. I think many people would be offended. Personally I was far from that after two years of playing, and I'm still not on that level.

ok I'm coming off as a jerk but you know nothing. for a record of the level that he does, a compresser mic is required.
the lowest $ for a good one is about $78
I'm not saying he is not good... he's playing a a very high tempo well up above 180 bpms. and I'll give him credit for pulling a lot of simple thing together into a good guitar piece.
i cna play the stuff he's doing, however, honestly I'm better and harmonic incoperations.

Well, of course it's basic and it also sounds basic, but it still sounds good and I love Miyavi. It's just that... well if there are so many people better than him (which there probably are), why aren't they making it known? It's sad and a waste of good talent.
