the thing with sony vegas 8 is that you cant mask it like that, it doesn't have that effect lol, atleast mine doesn't, but to originally do it, you click the little square thingy in the corner of the scene to like prop it or w.e, and theres normaly an option that says "mask" but it doesn't have it lol
