Saw this at Lollapalooza, a couple rows from the front. I nearly cried. Almost everyone around me was either crying or kissing. No other group I've ever seen live has affected their audience so- it's remarkable, like he's got no filter on his emotion when he writes. He reminds me of sufjan stevens or some of art garfunkel's stuff that way.

Although some people are being rather rude about it, I have to admit I never thought about this as a "love" song until someone else brought that interpretation up. It always felt more about war and freedom and understanding the world. Not really just about a breakup.
