@ebauer He's only doing wishful thinking. He's not analyzing but proselytizing. His descriptions of past historical processes are childishly modified to suit his wanted conclusions. To be taken at face value only.
@foketesz While I agree that there are difficulties with the examples Laclau uses, especially his examination of Peronism, I definitely do not thing he is proselytizing. At the theoretical level, his utilization of continental philosophy is nothing short of brilliant, with particular emphasis on his Lacanian insights.

I don´t agree. This guy supports Chavez, but he can have the freedom to write about what he thinks cause he lives in Europe.
But I agree with him that populism shouldn´t be just for left movements or governments
