  • you see lucas go to uae play football 2011

  • Nah I can understand how he sort of lost his accent, I remember one night me and my mate were at a pub and we met these couple English blokes and we were talking to them for ages and by the end of the night I was speaking exactly like them without even realizing it. I think we all just speak like the people we spend time with or at least the group of people we want to fit in with.

  • yeh pitty lucas didnt stay with the hammers...

  • This is what Makes Lucas Neill a great player. West Ham have missed his influence so much

  • Comment removed

  • Galatasarayımıza hoşgeldin

  • karsilamaya gitmeyi unutma , sirtinda da tasi adami :)

  • It's normal for Aussie players to talk like a Pom whilst they're up there. Remember, they spend most of their time in England. In essence, that is where they live. However, after a bit of time back down under you can hear them get their Aussie accents back. Kewell (when he was in England) and Schwarzer are exactly the same. Cahill is the only one that I haven't heard speak Pom come to think of it, although I'm sure he probably does.

  • he has got a aussie accent. what are you all talking bout

  • haha nah he sounds like a pommie...check what aussies really sound like if you don't know.

  • @Mansell1994 haha nah he doesnt, pome accent definately

  • @seannnooo you can still tell hes aussie tho

  • Its got me fucked how hammers had Carlos Tevez at the front and Lucas Neill at the back and they still had to scrap to avoid relegation. Makes me think.

  • What a sad cunt talking like a pom, then comes back to Australia and talks like an aussie. In Australia no one uses the term "lads" to describe their mates. Fkn retarded

  • agree. He sounds nothing like this. He speaks aussie when hes in australia.

  • i thought he sounds australian haha

  • what the heck, i mean he could of done a tad better on his english accent? You were the captain of the aus team ...

  • Absolutely retarded accent. Be proud of your heritage Lucas!

    :)

  • What, back in 1788?

Australia's the best country in the world mate :D

  • Not at football!

  • You do realise that half of the convicts were petty theifs trying to steal bread to feed themselves and their families because of the poor working conditions the industrial revolution brought to England? You're making them to out to be something they werent..

  • So why does England have so much more crime now? Bucked tooth idioits

  • because ur moms an expensive lady we all need money

  • true up to a certain point, before all the lawyers and doctors started coming out in the 1860's when they heard how good it was.

  • @sanjivkhan sanjivkhan? wow i think i ate some of that last night, made me feel a lil sick.

  • Nobes I love you

  • dont we all

  • he played sooooo well in that season we stayed up !!!!!! after he got the captaincy he has not been the same !!

    west ham 4 life !!!

  • lucas neil is a git

  • What is with that annoying British accent. He must have to speak that way to be understood over there.

  • Galatasaray want's this man.. is he any good? just asking o_0

  • had a shit season last season, but was alright the season before that.

  • yesh noble is crying bless his little heart!

    I LOVE LUCAS NEILL'S ACCENT!

    i think its cool! (:

  • is nobes crying?

  • Some people pick up the accent of the area they live in, others don't. He obviously does, no big deal.

  • He still sounds Australian to me. Why is their so many negative comment about his accent? Lucas Neill is no proud to be an aussie and would never try to not sound australian and besides anyone who has lived in England for over 13 years is bound to loose their Australian accent a bit, and it doesn't help hes shouting.

Congratulations Lucas on the news your becoming a dad to twins.

  • "so proud

  • Are You Stupid Neill Has an English Accent Because His Dad is From Ireland and his mum is from northern ireland

  • What does Ireland have to do with England? Surely he'd sound Irish... and very different?

Though he does sound Irish "credit to the lads (:34)", and Australian "actually could get out of it(:39)" and English "they've had a very indifferent season(:44)". All in the space of ten seconds! Aswell as sounding just a bit like Tony Hawk at times, who is from San Diego... Which is funny because Noble actually looks like Tony Hawk quite a bit...

  • he sounds so pommy but when he's in australia he gets his accent back

  • haha, he sounds so pommy!

  • well it's very easy to lose the aussie accent and extremely hard to get it back. the trouble is u'll have to convince customs that ur not a pom or a yank haha

  • True that sometimes you can't help it, but he did say he felt more like 'one of the team' if he just went with it and sounded like them or something. Doesn't even seem like Lucas Neill. Wonder what best mate Cahill would say about it, he won't even let his kids have accents.

  • Lol, the tone + accent is totally diff to his natural aussie accent .. Its kinda annoying lol

  • WTF??!?! What's with that accent?? It sounds so put on, he always speaks with a strong Aussie accent.

  • when you live in another country for an extended period of time...you lose your accent...then when u return to your country you get it back...i've had personal experience with that in America

  • yeah same man

  • That accents pissing me off. He's putting it on to impress his English buddies.

  • when he came in january i knew he would be our best signing. £1.5 million was an absolute bargain from blackburn and he should definatly be captain next season as he is captain for his country and they did better than expected in the world cup

  • i agree...he's lost his aussiness luckily he's back for the uruguay game!

  • well said....neill for captian next season!

    also noble what a legend!

  • i think its because he speaks loud very loud haha

  • what the hell thats not his reel voice it sounds like hes tryna talk pommy =o weirddd

  • wow, he needs to get back to australia! what's with the accent?!

  • oh so great to see them so happy!

  • future captain. he didnt include the clause, west ham did.
