Paul, George and Ringo (along with jeff lynne) did a fantastic job on this and Free as a Bird. Great guitar work by George on this one! I was amazed when I first heard these songs back in '95. The Beatles still had the magic. It makes you wonder how their solo works would have sounded if they had remained as a group. They all had some great solo stuff but it may have been even better if they had the input from the other beatles. The sum of the whole group was

even greater than the parts.

@rodneyracoon This is one of the great unanswerable questions, right up there with "what is the meaning of life?" Clearly, the internal competition, as well as the collaboration, is what made the group so extraordinary.  I'm just thankful that they found each other when they did and stayed together as long as they could. BTW, some of Paul's solo work is at high Beatles level, IMO (e.g. "Chaos and Creation in the Backyard.")
