If they say nope -not interested --- ask - can I call you back in 3-weeks to see if anything has changed for you? If they say yes - great - say have a great week - I'd catch up with you then and hang up. If they say no - don't call me --- then chuck-it-up-and-smile and say Thank you for your time and hangup.
If your contact says yeah sure - I'd love more energy better health - Great can you tell me where you want best to improve in - health or energy? Then you wait for them to tell you what they want from your services / product.
A cold call is - no prior connection, no prior reference, and never met you, never spoke to you before....Here's an example of a true cold call - Hello Ms. John, my name is micky mouse from PDS. I'm calling to enquire if you can benefit from better health and increased energy to do things you enjoy in your life?
The reason they don't give examples is because they are attempting to be market generic. Which means they want to appeal to the world of sales. And some are just play simple attempting to sell you their services. So Beware!
This was good, alot of people give sales advice. but not alot give examples no one actually takes to the time to walk through the proccess this is a good 5mins of invested time...give this a thumbs up... hope you make more....

This is not a good example of a cold call. There was a connection made prior to the call which is the reference starting point.
