@yuri5677 yes but it's ultra high rate of fire is good for mid range. you touch r1 just one second and it shoots 5 shoots and each is a hit. . that means the enemy is down.
@Plaayboarding this is a sniper montage. not a recon montage. if you want to weild a semi-automatic rifle, slap a scope on it, and call yourself a sniper. then go ahead. real snipers go with bolt action.
@iNightm4reZ as long as your aim is good semi auto should only be used for cover fire or my favorite vss short with red dot and magnum ammo for close quarters pwning. but thats not sniping is it. im not against recon players using semi auto if they behave like recon, but if u stay in the back with the sole purpose of sniping and u use a semi automatic rifle, its facerolling and its not the sniper way. well...at least thats how i see it

IMO Sv98 is the best sniper rifle in the game, Because the crosshairs on the scope is amazing, Because unlike the american X crosshairs were its just a x with dots, the sv98 is pyramids n u can be as far as u want n aim perfectly fr those headsohots with the gun because the farther u are, the lower pyramid on the crosshairs u just gotta use unlike how hard it is to to tht on the m24 and m95Russian snipers FTW! :DD
@Dano78229 The same idea applies for the dots on the cross scopes. The dots are set for specific lead distances, which probably aren't even accurate in the game. But in real life, I think each dot accounts for about 5 feet. The GOL scope sucks, because of the lack of the dots. The M24 has the best scope in my opinion, and The Barret is a close second.
I hated the demo of this game. Once the enemy got the helicopter it was over. No way to take it down. Maybe I was doing something wrong... but that was so not competitive. I may give this game another chance because I like sniping now.
oh man i loved the beta. I played it almost as much as i've played the full game since it came out. I just never got tired of that map. Anyone remember when you could get up on those hills about the choke points on port valdez?
BFBC2 is for hardcore gamers who likes to play as a team and win the game not like fuking COD everyone depends on Kill streak to help them out just to be a kill whore watch when Battlefield 3 comes out its gonna own COD franchise.... @3rzga the sv98's 12x optical scope to some ppl including me is better than the other snipers and just like you with the GOL some ppl like the sv98 more and the sv98 holds 10 bullets per clip while GOL/M95/M24 have 5 bullets.

I think that Hardcore mode has benefit of less player health, but 1) You cannot see where someone is camping, unless you saw them before death, and 2) NO SPOTTING! HC mode = More campers, harder to spot enemy... I don't think hardcore mode for noobs, ITS HARDER! Well that's my opinion...
@OnSePetriii hardcore in my opinion is a recon plagued camp fest. the entire pace of the game is dragged down. also, it takes away from the whole point of bc, which is teamwork. wheres the teamwork when you cant spot, detect motion mines etc.

I love the SV98 in this game. I use the 4x scope at all times. Its my favorite because its not bulky like the M95 so u can see more on the screen, u pull the bolt quicker, and its always perfectly accurate. I think I have about 850 kills with it.
I've truly been playing Modern Warfare Two since roll-out! I just dled the most up-to-date 2010 Map Pack from codmw2freedlYcom (replace Y with . ) , and I have to say that these brand-new maps are a Must have! You HAVE to read the details to make it work with steam, so that you can play with your pals like i have been doing.
@joel6781 first off that's your opinion. second mw2 is a broken ass game, this is a fact. how is it a fact you ask? there is a host migration every 5 minutes. over a million hacks/ there is a new glitch every day. the noobtoobtubing is ridiculous. there is not a bit of recoil on a any of the guns which makes it much to easy. the killstreaks are retarded since you get 10 free kills with half of them. you die in 3 bullets which is retarded.
@Thundergiant13 nope, either you get a headshot or be at a very close range in order to pick them off. Otherwise it's 2 to 3 shots to take out your target.
@KingKumaForever i am not always at close range alot of my shots are almost across the entire map map ranging from 50 to 75 percent of the map i hit one kill because i time it correctly and i am for headshots and upper body and i don't play on hardcore

I think that Hardcore mode has benefit of less player health, but 1) You cannot see where someone is camping, unless you saw them before death, and 2) NO SPOTTING! HC mode = More campers, harder to spot enemy... I don't think hardcore mode for noobs, ITS HARDER! Well that's my opinion...

@OnSePetriii hardcore in my opinion is a recon plagued camp fest. the entire pace of the game is dragged down. also, it takes away from the whole point of bc, which is teamwork. wheres the teamwork when you cant spot, detect motion mines etc.

I love the SV98 in this game. I use the 4x scope at all times. Its my favorite because its not bulky like the M95 so u can see more on the screen, u pull the bolt quicker, and its always perfectly accurate. I think I have about 850 kills with it.

I've truly been playing Modern Warfare Two since roll-out! I just dled the most up-to-date 2010 Map Pack from codmw2freedlYcom (replace Y with . ) , and I have to say that these brand-new maps are a Must have! You HAVE to read the details to make it work with steam, so that you can play with your pals like i have been doing.

@joel6781 first off that's your opinion. second mw2 is a broken ass game, this is a fact. how is it a fact you ask? there is a host migration every 5 minutes. over a million hacks/ there is a new glitch every day. the noobtoobtubing is ridiculous. there is not a bit of recoil on a any of the guns which makes it much to easy. the killstreaks are retarded since you get 10 free kills with half of them. you die in 3 bullets which is retarded.

@KingKumaForever i am not always at close range alot of my shots are almost across the entire map map ranging from 50 to 75 percent of the map i hit one kill because i time it correctly and i am for headshots and upper body and i don't play on hardcore

Seriously, there's no good teams that play hardcore. That's specifically why they hardly use it in REAL leagues like TWL or CAL because of how easy and noobish it is. No aim required, just point and shoot and you're guarenteed to take out your target. Also, hardcore is such a campfest. Best campers win the game.

It's like going to a pro basketball game and challenging players to play you in a game of jump rope to prove how better at basketball you are - when in reality jump rope has nothing to do with the game. Likewise hardcore has nothing to do with how good you are - it's the complete opposite. Also, you can turn of spotting without playing hardcore. You do know that right? They use it in competitions that I play.
