it prooves what crap the aero garden is due to the fact they call it aeroponics. Its not aeroponics at all. its just roots dangling into water bubling. Aeroponics uses a compressor and atomizer and is a virtually dry mist. THey need to check there definitions. aeroponics plants are suspended in a dry container with no water at all and misted periodically and cost thousands of pounds/dollars.

this unit works especially well for strains like white widow ak47 and your typical auto flower such as lowrider because they all are very potent strains that consume a lot of nutes and call for an optimum ph and ppm blueberry also is a good strain to grow in the aerogarden

Yo man, when growing in them small aerogardens if from seed . there only dwarf plants so from seed wait until you have four fully grow leafs and then start to flower on 12/12 lighting the aerogarden dont have the fuctions but im sure you can get a timer or just turn off the light.

that way you can get quality smoke because plants stay stocky and grow when in flowering too . so if you grow them over 10" to a ft when flowering the buds will get burnt. cool ya happy smoking .

my mates brought one of these and he has 2 small lowryder mark 2 plants, he has the normal aerogarden but with the deluxe hood. will his plants bud on an 18 on 7 off cycle as the plants are automatic flowering. if not how could he get them to bud using an ordinary aerogarden?? ive heard that you can use a playstation power lead on a timer, will that work or will it scrw up his aerogarden lights. help would be much appreciated.

lowryder will bud no matter what the cycle of light is but the longer the better. upgrade the light to at least a 250 watt hps for this size of aerogarden. these plants are stretching too much imo. aeroponics is the most efficient way to grow a plant.

how do you initially get the plant seeds out of the pods and then after do you just put 1 weed seed in each pod?

remove these with a tweezer while in the same time germinate ur seeds in a cup covered by a napkin in the dark. Keep this wet for a couple of days while u keep the empty pods in the system to keep it moist. the pods are harder than soil so u wanna make a hole that cuts through it to facilitate the root going down. Now that the seeds germinated, move them carefully from the napkin & put one in ech pod (1 only).

yeah but theres really no difference between 68 watts of CFL and 68 watts of HPS.... besides the fact that CFL's don't penetrate for shit and are useless beyond 5 inches... better to just get 1 400watt HPS.. you can get a light and ballast for 160 bucks, and you don't need 10 CFL's... the "equivilant to x watts" means nothing... its all about actual wattage. you never see grams/watt of HPS, or grams per watt of CFL... its just grams per watt.
