  • i hate it when stupid adverts playing crap pop music come on as im about to listen to a beautiful classical piece

  • Chopin is the greatest of all nineteenth century composers and his search for beauty yielded music which is eternal.

  • 22 persons are deaf or stupid?

  • @MrMieciu007 For several reasons, some people just can't appreciate music like that.

Yeah, too bad, but we still can't blame them for not sharing our taste

  • Very nice. I really like this nocturne-works. It's like my emotions are being played into music, which is quite amazing, I think.

  • Im a blackmetal fan, but damn i like this shit too....good work, see also MUSTIS - CHOPIN NOCTURNE NO 20 on you tube....hes a former blackmetal pianist on Dimmu Borgir....a symphonic blackmetal band from Norway..

  • frustration - yearning - regret - hope - contradiction - purity - loss - desire - anger - desperation - love

  • OMG I love this part of Frederic chopin :\:\<3

  • 21 dislikes. you hidious fools. "Masterpiece" do you know what that is?

  • Посмертный этюд!!!!!!

  • i love chopin. i'm 15 and i play it on my ipod, when i'm online and around my room. i'd rather listen to this any day of the week instead of rap or hiphop bubblegummy shit

  • @SaXyChIcK26 I'm also 15. Stop thinking you're the only kid on the planet who likes classical music. I've been listening to classical since I was a child, but I don't feel it makes me superior in any way, so I have no reason to "boast" it.

  • @SaXyChIcK26 Wise boy! You're the hope of Western Civilization!

  • excuse me, this is the Paradise? ... I think I take the "wrong" way :3

  • My personal favorite of his is nocturne op. 9 no. 2, but maybe thats because its the only one i can play :P

  • @PolyAskiti94 Its not a song, dipshit

  • @Matthijs3476 I like how you tried to correct him, which almost showed intelligence, but then you called him a dipshit, which made you lose any hope of sounding intelligent, and at the same time making you sound arrogant and 7 years old, Well done!

  • C sharp minor nocturne :D

  • The Pianist is an amazing music. I've been playing piano for 9 years, & the Pianist changed my view on it ALL. I can't explain how much more it made me appreciate this beautiful music & how it captured the complete innocence of the piano itself. Chopin- among others-is an incomparable genius. Piano changed my life; I now play over an hour a day. Playing this masterpiece for a Concert on Saturday. I hope people will be able to see & feel the beauty and other personal emotions just like me.

  • i love classical music...

  • 19 like Justin Bieber...

  • sleep :) romantizm akımının öncüsü olan chopin'in bendeki yara başka..

  • @deridegistirmeden Öncüsü demek doğrumudur bilemiyorum ancak Chopin kesinlikle Romantizm adını ve özelliklerini en güzel taşıyan kişi.

  • thumbs up if aski memnu sent you here

  • oow

  • My friends are hiphop/dubstep fans etc, i also like that, but when i try to explain my friends how beautiful this piece is, they just cant understand, and i cant put in words how i feel when im listening to this, especially wafter watching the pianist

    Pure beauty

  • @cridler2 omg me too!! but im a dancer and love hiphop and dubstep and stuff....but sometimes u just need to get away from all of that !! i think this is so beautiful!!! :) just amazing

  • @Summerlife2016 i totally agree (:

  • @cridler2 Hi there, I also listen to a quite wide range of musical styles (a lot of american hphop or Black Sabbath for instance) and it's always a good idea to get back to Chopin. I always enjoy some Debussy too, in another vein.

  • D <3

  • Arguably his best Nocturne. The combination of his sorrow over his iminent demise, yet the joy he can get in his fleeting moments.

  • that sounds more like Chopin, i like it, other versions are so fast or too slow.

  • this is just awesome

  • Very smoothly played, almost with the understatement that this piece deserves & signifies in its gem-like musicality.

A very well clarified rendition of this Chopin quiet masterpiece. Interesting change in tempo after hearing Maurizio Pollini and Maria Joao Pirez's version's.

What genius Chopin displayed to those that knew him & what he gave to us in his relatively brief sojourn on this earth, passing on at 39 years of age; leaving behind incomparable piano compositions for the ages.

  • istota polskiej duszy zapisana muzyką

  • What a genius. Every note every key every sound is just brilliant..

The best 4 minutes 22 seconds of music harmony...

  • For me he's the best pianist of the history :')!!!!!!

  • I love you chopin <3

  • :-) I LOVE IT.

  • una exquisita melodia, una obra de arte musicalmente hablando, expresa gran contenido de amor y armonia en cada nota! sin duda una de mis preferidas

  • Hermosa canción!

  • I think the correct name for that key is C Sharp Minor, not C Minor Sharp. You may want to change that. But the piece is beutiful. Thank you for posting this.

  • "Is that Stephen Foster? Sounds like Stephen Foster to me..."

    -"Pardon?"

"You know, Camptown Races, Oh, Susanna... Stephen stinking Foster!"

-"Ah, well, this is a Nocturne..."

    "A what?"

    -"You know, Frederic effing Chopin..."

  • @AgApE010 Ahhh Good Tombstone Quote though I prefer Whyatt Earp over it!

  • @AgApE010...You know, Frederic FUCKING Chopin...

  • @jeezusallahchrist Funny thing is that his middle initial is really F. But it stands for Francois, not fucking...

  • @Hubris73 Yeah you're effing fucking right.

For in much wisdom is much grief, and he who increase knowledge increases sorrow. Ecc._1:18

  • open mindedness FTW! i'm 15, and i listen, pop, jazz, rock, techo, classical, dubstep, DnB, rap, hip hop, funk.... anyone who says that a style of music is shitty, is a pretty shitty person himself.

  • @MrZombieturd No that means they're opinionated. I mean would it be fair to say that if you dont' like all books you're a shitty person? No because there are obviously books that I believe are good and books you probably believe are terrible.

Being open minded means you respect the opinion of others and not judging them based upon what they like or dislike. Understand that people like different things or as my dad would say "Different strokes for different folks". Thats being open minded

  • iubesc melodia asta

  • "You know, Frederic fucking Chopin"! Thats not old dog tre" =TOMBSTONE=

  • Hello, I am a young piano player in love with chopin, if you can take five minutes of your life and watch one of my videos, I promise you won't be disappointed. I spent all my life playing piano, since I was four, Its my dream to play Chopin in huge halls with people listnening to me, please watch, each view gets me closer to acheiving my dream. Thank you.

  • unsurpassed beauty...

  • i love all the way up to 1:30, not so sure about the rest :P

  • @FalahunterFTW and then 3:00 + :P

  • you made it better than the original i think

  • Brava!!!!!!!!

  • I see another face in the portrait..

  • @madhc44

me too.. lower right corner correct?

  • @madhc44 how come?

  • @madhc44

    lower right, ok

  • @madhc44 and it looks pretty scary...

  • @madhc44 that of an angry kobe bryant

  • Wish he was still alive.

  • @BUKKAKE05 He is... here at his music.

  • @rodwagner Hmmm. You're right. Thanks for making me notice...

  • One of my favorite Nocturnes from Chopin. Made me cry (:

  • @MeicoRaider

    it makes me cry, too

  • @tiamo0319 (:

  • i loveee thiss I'm going to play this for my covert next year cannnnt waittt

  • Music for the soul!

I wish i was born in the same era as Chopin!!

  • I gave up Piano at age 10.

I curse my rash stupidity at moments like these.

  • @halopalo never too late to try.

  • Nocturnes have always been at the top of my list for favorite styles of music. Ahh, I love them.

  • most beautiful part begins at 1:30

  • Every video with a large number of views will have dislikes; no matter how good you think the video is. I'm tired of reading youtube comments that are along the lines of "the # people who disliked this don't have a soul."

Guess what... only 0.5% of the people who voted hit the dislike button. Deal with it.

  • @musicresistances even if someone accidently hit dislike it isn't permanant and there sensable brains would just change it to like. a younger generation kid has more probability of hitting dislike and leaving it there simply because of their taste in music

  • When I listen to this my mind just start thinking about things that normaly I wouldnt think about.

Beautiful blackness when I close my eyes.

  • @TheLReds im trying to close my eyes and see something beautiful , but i keep seeing the horrible scenes from the Pianist and the W02.

  • @cridler2 Dont try anything let the mind decide itself.:)

  • thank you Frédéric Chopin for this buetiful masterpiece

  • oguihpbl;jhd[sG:Bounhbbjserih[

sorry wiping tears of the keybord

  • it just makes me cry because it reminds me of the moive the pianist its so sad

  • im 14 and this is my favorite songs

  • Those 10 dislikes are probably from those 10/12 year olds whom never heard real music and are listening to the BS music they have these days.

  • @musicluvaa4833 im 14 and i listen to this all day ;)

  • @musicluvaa4833 you're right. I'm 14 years old, and i love it! but no one of my age and younger do listen to this. they don't really know what real music is..

  • @musicluvaa4833 No those 10 dislikes are from old pianists who finally learned how to use the internet but they are not so good already so they cannot aim pretty well. Why should always be something wrong about the dislike button and not just law of posibility? If you get 500.000 people to aim for the"like"button there would be at least 10of them would be the unlucky ones who had to sneeze or got afraid from something,or even have Parkison for god sake ,they should not neceserly be ignorant 12yro

  • @musicResistances I really don't care if someone sneezed or shit in their pants while pressing the like button. I'm just saying it's more likely that the 10people who disliked the video are the younger generation who never listened to this kind of music. Second- if you're trying to be funny, stop because that wasnt funny at all, but nice try on your feeble attempt. By the way, Parkinson's disease really? That's not something to joke about and you should learn how to make more sense while typing.

  • @musicluvaa4833 *clicks dislike*

    You like?

  • @musicluvaa4833 Man 1), that's the point,i wasn't trying to be funny, but realistic. Have you ever heard the Chaos Theory? I guess not , because if you had you wouldn't be making so ignorant comments.2)the percentage of people who listen to classic music is bigger between 11-20 than the one between 30-40,so quit blaming young generation for everything because even if it is this way guess who raised this generation up?3)english is not my native language ,still i'm using it to make you understand.

  • @musicResistances Well i didn't raise the fucking generation because i'm only 14 okay kid? English isn't my native language either so shut the fuck up it's not a big deal. Oh and i'm pretty sure that percentage of yours is wrong because the majority of 11-20 year olds listen to pop, rap, dupstep, etc. Some don't even know what classical music is. Get your facts straight, dumbass.

  • @musicluvaa4833 oh oh , easy tough guy. firstly i didn't bring up the language issue , you did. Secondly you talk about shitty music with swearing at it? Yeah i'm pretty sure that in this way you look a lot better that they do. I too hate those genres of music but i don't make it that obvious . And please tell me what you suggest the reason is for the difference on the music preferences between a 10yro and a 30yro ?

  • @musicResistances You're just pure ignorant. You didn't bring up the language issue? Then who said this? "3)english is not my native language ,still i'm using it to make you understand." Guess who, you did. Also, what kind of stupid question is that? 10 y/o and 30 y/o both have different maturity levels i don't see any 30 year olds listening to Selena Gomez. So instead of arguing like an idiot go back to your room and vent out by yourself, kay? You're not even worth arguing with.

  • @musicResistances That person you were arguing with is either a child or an absolute moron. Nevertheless, you presented your argument eloquently - for a non native English speaker - and without engaging in unnecessary insults or aggression. Well done.

  • Comment removed

  • @musicluvaa4833 Dude what a non-sense... People don't usually listen to one and only one kind of music. I love 30' jazz, 60' pop (Beatles in fact), 70'-90' rock, some new stuff of diverse artist, and so many more I havent got the time to tell. You mentionned dubstep, I also like it, that is interesting ; be open minded for Christ sake o_O, and notice I love this nocturne, and many more classical stuff. The word is "ecletic", and that is a sign of intelligence. And btw, my age screw you hard.

  • U need to be deaf to disslike this. really deaf

  • @kaaalipsa Can i just point out, i'm deaf as well? Deaf people do listen to this as well you know?

  • @HITDraverkid i'm so sorry.

  • @kaaalipsa It all right, i'm used to it now, but i know that one day that all people will understand that we deaf people, undertstand and how much we trusure the music. I myself deaf and love it, i cant imagine life without music :)

  • ...Chopin is a master of a perfect composing, that's always a story about deep emotions...LUV!

  • i think there should be a movie which explain chopin's life and adrian brody is available for this role;)))

  • @canausten90 inform the producers I'm available for the George Sand part ;-)

  • I want a piano NOW

  • When I was a child, at home, we all listened to the music of Chopin bevor I went to bed and I often dreamed of angels in the heaven :) So I thought, that Chopin was the only male angel in the heaven .

  • Beautifully interpreted! If only I could play this well technically :3

  • This is gorgeous

  • 10 people - try Bieber

  • music such as this is a beautiful reminder. chopin truly showed us beauty in the world behind such an ugly world.

  • the pianist, karate kid .. :D

  • I played it for the funeral of my granddad who loved piano.

Therefore it's called an Opus Posthumous (Opus after dead).

  • 10 people have not watched "The Pianist"

  • Some videos should be void of a dislike button, this is one of those videos...

  • When it's sunny outside and I'm feeling cheerful. I turn this music loud and get chills to bring myself back to being somber to cool myself.

    Cause I'm dark like that...

  • @Sllvlloov love it!

  • The Pianist brought me here, and I'm loving this song. Great movie, great music,

  • favorite

  • Simplemente bella

  • amazing

  • I love this piece!

  • 3:35 till 3:49 is my favourite part of the song. I think that's how insistance sounds. Like insisting to be loved or for happiness.

  • I want to listen to good music now. QQ

  • so much passion T-T i hope one day i'll be as great as him

  • The last thing my Grandfather heard, and my Grandmother only played it once more after that. It haunts me. Good performance.

  • i want to cry.... T_T
