@SaXyChIcK26 I'm also 15. Stop thinking you're the only kid on the planet who likes classical music. I've been listening to classical since I was a child, but I don't feel it makes me superior in any way, so I have no reason to "boast" it.
@Matthijs3476 I like how you tried to correct him, which almost showed intelligence, but then you called him a dipshit, which made you lose any hope of sounding intelligent, and at the same time making you sound arrogant and 7 years old, Well done!
The Pianist is an amazing music. I've been playing piano for 9 years, & the Pianist changed my view on it ALL. I can't explain how much more it made me appreciate this beautiful music & how it captured the complete innocence of the piano itself. Chopin- among others-is an incomparable genius. Piano changed my life; I now play over an hour a day. Playing this masterpiece for a Concert on Saturday. I hope people will be able to see & feel the beauty and other personal emotions just like me.
My friends are hiphop/dubstep fans etc, i also like that, but when i try to explain my friends how beautiful this piece is, they just cant understand, and i cant put in words how i feel when im listening to this, especially wafter watching the pianist
@cridler2 omg me too!! but im a dancer and love hiphop and dubstep and stuff....but sometimes u just need to get away from all of that !! i think this is so beautiful!!! :) just amazing
@cridler2 Hi there, I also listen to a quite wide range of musical styles (a lot of american hphop or Black Sabbath for instance) and it's always a good idea to get back to Chopin. I always enjoy some Debussy too, in another vein.
Very smoothly played, almost with the understatement that this piece deserves & signifies in its gem-like musicality.
A very well clarified rendition of this Chopin quiet masterpiece. Interesting change in tempo after hearing Maurizio Pollini and Maria Joao Pirez's version's.
What genius Chopin displayed to those that knew him & what he gave to us in his relatively brief sojourn on this earth, passing on at 39 years of age; leaving behind incomparable piano compositions for the ages.
I think the correct name for that key is C Sharp Minor, not C Minor Sharp. You may want to change that. But the piece is beutiful. Thank you for posting this.

open mindedness FTW! i'm 15, and i listen, pop, jazz, rock, techo, classical, dubstep, DnB, rap, hip hop, funk.... anyone who says that a style of music is shitty, is a pretty shitty person himself.
@MrZombieturd No that means they're opinionated. I mean would it be fair to say that if you dont' like all books you're a shitty person? No because there are obviously books that I believe are good and books you probably believe are terrible.
Being open minded means you respect the opinion of others and not judging them based upon what they like or dislike. Understand that people like different things or as my dad would say "Different strokes for different folks". Thats being open minded

@musicluvaa4833 you're right. I'm 14 years old, and i love it! but no one of my age and younger do listen to this. they don't really know what real music is..
@musicluvaa4833 No those 10 dislikes are from old pianists who finally learned how to use the internet but they are not so good already so they cannot aim pretty well. Why should always be something wrong about the dislike button and not just law of posibility? If you get 500.000 people to aim for the"like"button there would be at least 10of them would be the unlucky ones who had to sneeze or got afraid from something,or even have Parkison for god sake ,they should not neceserly be ignorant 12yro
@musicResistances I really don't care if someone sneezed or shit in their pants while pressing the like button. I'm just saying it's more likely that the 10people who disliked the video are the younger generation who never listened to this kind of music. @musicluvaa4833 Man 1), that's the point,i wasn't trying to be funny, but realistic. Have you ever heard the Chaos Theory? @musicResistances Well i didn't raise the fucking generation because i'm only 14 okay kid? English isn't my native language either so shut the fuck up it's not a big deal. Oh and i'm pretty sure that percentage of yours is wrong because the majority of 11-20 year olds listen to pop, rap, dupstep, etc. Some don't even know what classical music is. Get your facts straight, dumbass.
@musicluvaa4833 oh oh , easy tough guy. firstly i didn't bring up the language issue , you did. Secondly you talk about shitty music with swearing at it? Yeah i'm pretty sure that in this way you look a lot better that they do. I too hate those genres of music but i don't make it that obvious . And please tell me what you suggest the reason is for the difference on the music preferences between a 10yro and a 30yro ?
@musicResistances You're just pure ignorant. You didn't bring up the language issue? Then who said this? "3)english is not my native language ,still i'm using it to make you understand." Guess who, you did. Also, what kind of stupid question is that? 10 y/o and 30 y/o both have different maturity levels i don't see any 30 year olds listening to Selena Gomez. So instead of arguing like an idiot go back to your room and vent out by yourself, kay? You're not even worth arguing with.
@musicResistances That person you were arguing with is either a child or an absolute moron. Nevertheless, you presented your argument eloquently - for a non native English speaker - and without engaging in unnecessary insults or aggression. Well done.
@musicluvaa4833 Dude what a non-sense... People don't usually listen to one and only one kind of music. I love 30' jazz, 60' pop (Beatles in fact), 70'-90' rock, some new stuff of diverse artist, and so many more I havent got the time to tell. You mentionned dubstep, I also like it, that is interesting ; be open minded for Christ sake o_O, and notice I love this nocturne, and many more classical stuff. The word is "ecletic", and that is a sign of intelligence. And btw, my age screw you hard.
@kaaalipsa It all right, i'm used to it now, but i know that one day that all people will understand that we deaf people, undertstand and how much we trusure the music. I myself deaf and love it, i cant imagine life without music :)
When I was a child, at home, we all listened to the music of Chopin bevor I went to bed and I often dreamed of angels in the heaven :) So I thought, that Chopin was the only male angel in the heaven .
i hate it when stupid adverts playing crap pop music come on as im about to listen to a beautiful classical piece

When I was a child, at home, we all listened to the music of Chopin bevor I went to bed and I often dreamed of angels in the heaven :) So I thought, that Chopin was the only male angel in the heaven .

I played it for the funeral of my granddad who loved piano.
Therefore it's called an Opus Posthumous (Opus after dead).

When it's sunny outside and I'm feeling cheerful. I turn this music loud and get chills to bring myself back to being somber to cool myself.
Cause I'm dark like that...

3:35 till 3:49 is my favourite part of the song. I think that's how insistance sounds. Like insisting to be loved or for happiness.

The last thing my Grandfather heard, and my Grandmother only played it once more after that. It haunts me. Good performance.
