Had these damn suckers since last year, got rid of them in the summer, and now they are back. Most annoying thing to have and so easy to get them. I will try the Sulfur cream and soap. I still had some left over Permetherin cream so its stopped most of the scabies from spreading again.

my son got scabies from day care when he was 1 years old. he never went back to that place. hes 3 now, but that was the worse thing we ever went through.

Man i have freaking scabies.. i used the cream .. yeah it doesn't itch much .. But i loookk crazy with all these bumps on my dang armsss... I need the bumps to disapear forget the itch !

I got some sulfur soap from Walgreens... Poured a warm/hot bath and diluted about 1/4 of the bar in the water... Sat in it for about an hour while scrubbing my skin.. Amazing results!! Hardly any more itching!! I am 100% sure that this is the, safest, fastest, and cheapest way to get rid of them...

I hope this helps... I dont wish these things on my worst enemy...

i had a scabies line on my dickhead!!! it hurt SOO bad took the Permethrin creme- BURNS like no other for a good 3 minuets then all the mites are dead and i was free. This was in 2007 after i got out of the drunk tank, Jails are gross.

just went to the doctor and got some meds for it and by the way if anyone hasent gone to the doctor yet do so and in the mean time USE BAG BALM its a old school trick thats works on just about anything it helped the itching and STOPED the spreading, hope this helps and get rid of dem thangs!

@hobatu I had that too. There is actually nothing in your eyebrows, the mites don't bite above the neck. I am pretty sure that sensation is either an allergic reaction or is caused by a virus that is hosted by the itch mite. I am trying to find out which one, but right now it looks to me like a virus. People with AIDS get this stuff real bad.

i know someone that went to a dermatologist and was cured with hemorrhoid cream preparation h no lie it works and has never had another problem as far as i know hope this can help

I used Sulfur ointment when I was infected over 10 yrs ago (it's OTC in RU) - it really worked, but I had to get rid of all the clothes I wore while applying Sulfur, it stunk too much even after repeated washing

the itching is miserable keeps me up at night an the doctor put me on Permethrin. hope it works but doubt it! i just want this annoying itching to go away! it hurts an keeps me awake all night

Permethrin is a neurotoxin. Neurotoxins are bad. Check out Wikipedia if you don't believe me. Google: dermisil sulphur cream. Also google borax boric acid scabies.

I think this is what I have. At first I was thinking it was bedbugs, because the sores/rashes looks the same, but I threw out my mattress and carpet, and I am still getting bit. So either the bedbugs are still here, or I have this. I'm going to a dermatologist soon, hopefully this is all fixable. Whatever it is, it has drove me completely insane! I'm going to suffer long-term psychological damage from this experience.

Efff I found out that I have them. I know I have to wash my bedding and clothes, towels and such in hot water to kill them. But what about my keyboard. and all my other things i use everyday like my flip cam, ipod, and cell phone. can i get them again if i continue using these objects without cleaning them. or is there even a way to clean them?

Im 18 and i had scabies for a month Luckily and this is how i got rid of them .

1.When you get the itch , Instantly Go to Dr. Especially if your itching at night

2.Get the Permethrin Cream and rub it on everywhere (at night)

3.in the morning wash it off and put clean clothes on

4.wash everything in hot water !

5.if you still have them ask your dr. about linadane but its kinda ehhh...(look it up)

6.if that dont do it ..go to the dr.about a shot then ask for anitbonics pills as

If you work around unshowered 'public' quit shaking hands with people you think might not practice good 'hygiene'..I got it from a handshake on my fingers and it spread ALL OVER MY BODY..took 3 months for me to totally remove them from my body and 2 years to totally rid them from my bed/clothes. The solution pure liquid permethrin..the cream will help, but the pure stuff will do a better job

I barely found out I have it and thats because I went to the doctor but she assumed its scabies because I dont have any marks on my skin but the intense itching is terrible I washed all my clothes, towel, bedding, put them in plastic bags and cleaned the entired house shampoo the carpet and I hope they go away. I dont know how I got them never heard of them or any one talked bout them. :( I'm gonna do the second application of the Elimite cream tomorrow

Hot steam use a clothing steamer and a carpet steamer do not put clothing on without steaming them steam your pillows mattress everything

My son has it and passed it to my 2 other children and I am so pissed off. If they say a hot dryer and hot water kills them on your cloths,,,,, Then I decided that a clothing steamer will kill them for sure. I just dont want to use the creams... I think I will try tea tree oil and see how that goes.

Yes it will leave scares there not that bad now it's Ben over 4 months.. Ugh I hated them so much like I didn't no what it was a first and I thought I was going to die lmao. And I freaked out once I found out that somthing was laying eggs in my skin. And my rash was right on my upper thy..and...ya it sucked:(

It may take 3-4 weeks after Permetherin cream to stop itching. Use a Sulfur cream and soap after that. Sulfur is a natural cure for scabies. Read up on it. I HATE scabies! They are worse than an ex.

I had this.. it was one of the worst experiences of my life.

Already cleaning through my dorm room three times and fighting it for over a month I successfully beat it..

Only took three permethrin treatments, sealing my matress, washing all of my clothes in borax, etc.

I never got antibiotics from my local doctor, but my other doctor where i used to live gave me an injection and other creams and pills. Do i have to pay for a whole doctor visit to ask for the extra help?! I got reinfected thats why I'm still dealing with it.

Minor itches are just the beginning, see a doctor soon or this could itch will defintely be worse! Get some Permethrin cream prescribed along with antibiotics and you're good to go, itching afterwards will resume but it eventually becomes minor, but just to be on the safe side, a second treatment from head to toe does not hurt! My only question is, what to do about mattresses?

That's not funny especially if you have it. It is very contagous. My little boy got it. Was on his back. I thought it was chicken pox turns out it was scabies. He either got it from school or church. We all then contracted this. It was a nightmare. We were all then treated.
