So we have 2 woman, one of which due to her failed marriages and mid-life crisis, interspersed with her guilt over huge wealth wants to adopt loads of poor African children. The other woman had her children tested for Cri du chat syndrome as she is a carrier, but openly admitted she would have had them terminated if they had the syndrome. Wiley's sister has Cri du chat syndrome. Does that means she resents her sister living?

But she is incredibly smart, and she has destroyed her ego as she got older!

Madonna used to be known for pushing buttons and not caring what others thought. Look at her past acceptance speeches "I'd like to thank Pepsi for all the controversy", or her making out with an MTV award and thanking the crowd. Fun stuff. I guess she's all grown up and mellowed. Besides, if she continued that behaviour, as much as we say we'd like it, I'm SURE most people would call it pathetic and tell her to grow up. Case in point: she can't win with us, so she may as well do what she wants.

I meant in this interview in particular, with this interviewer. In some interviews, you can see where their rapport isn't as good and it shows in her demeanor and the way she answers questions.

compare this to her earlier interviews from around 1990/1991 and you'll notice that she's extremely tight-assed and distant these days. she doesn't really open up to the interviewer, even jo whiley with whom she has some history. she isn't really passionate about what she does anymore. luckily she still gets passionate about touring which is what she does best today.

I personally think her maturity and education as a person has made her a much more interesting interview. She has a great repore with Cynthia Mcfadden from Nightline. There's many interviews with the two of them that are very good.
