Bucs are lookin good offensively but they lost some key players on Defensive but hopefully our replacements cab step it up and so far they have.

i think its REALLY not right that tampa is 8-5 and STILL haven't beaten a team with a winning record...doesn't the NFL realize this team might actually make the playoffs without beating 1 team thats atleast decent?! same thing with KC, ridiculous.

Tampa didn´t choose its schedule..They just play who they are given and they managed to beat them.. And btw: Tampa lost their last 3 games against Baltimore and twice Atlanta by combined 17 points.. so its not like that team completely sucks

@karelmiskovsky okay but still, the schedule should be atleast balanced enough so that teams that aren't even that good don't have more wins than losses because they face more bad teams than decent teams.

How come no one talks about those teams having an easy schedule? Just because the Bucs took care of bussiness and managed to beat all the teams with a bad record doesn´t make them bad..

@jasonm42 On before of all of us in Tampa,me too! But, EJ Biggers is playing very well, almost as well as Talib was. I am more concerned with our nickle back and free safety.If Detroit had the firepower to spread us out and gun it, I'd be terrified. Our interior Dline is beat up too,but a lot of the reason we looked so bad last week is the Redskins zone blocking had our Dline totally confused.It was corrected soundly in the second half. Lastly, our interior Oline is trashed to, Suh could explode

@Elthenar Yeah our O-line blows and needs to be addressed in next years draft and maybe even free agency. EJ has been playing great but what scares me is calvin johnsons size. Biggers is a smaller corner and thats why I dont think he matches up that great against Johnson.Where as Talib has the size and athletism to go up and fight for jump balls which is where johnson gets all his TD's. I think we might see Myron Lewis on CJ some of the time too.

@jasonm42 You must be thinking of Elbert Mack. EJ biggers is 6 feet tall, only 1 inch shorter than Talib. Mack and Barber are both 5'10" No matter what though, Expect Johnson to see a safety coming over the top to help defend against him.

@Elthenar Its gonna be on our offenses shoulders from here on out. Lets face it, our defense is gonna give up yards and points. We need Freeman and our offense to step up and carry this team the rest of the way.

Nice analysis as always. I'm not sure if this game will be a competitive game by any means though. The Lions only scored a TD against the Packers anyway, but the Lions sure have an improved team this year. Maybe they can keep it close.

The Czar of the Playbook nailed it this week.

I am scared as hell of the Biggers vs Megatron matchup. I wouldn't throw out Tron getting 125+ with a couple TDs. Best might kill us too with his speed and our weak front and LBs.

I'd prefer if the Bucs jammed the ball up the middle just how The Czar said the Lions should do. The Lion's D isn't much better against the run. Of course, I have no problem if Freemen carves up their secondary. I just don't see him at the level of "Butcher" just yet.
