  • I'M GONNA KEEP POSTING UNTIL THIS GUY SAYS "YES I AM STUPID, AND I ADMIT IT!!!" SAYING THAT CORRELATION BET. CO2 - temp. IS DOUBLE-SIDED IS LIKE SAYING THAT STEAM IS THE CAUSE OF HEAT!!!! SURE, STEAM CAN CAUSE HEAT, BUT (1) IT ALSO CAUSES COOLING ALSO, AND (2) YOU'D STILL NEED TO FIND OUT WHAT CAUSED THE STEAM!!! A GUY LIKE GORE WOULD MAKE A LOUSY CAVE-MAN!!!! HE'D BE PISSING HIS PANTS CUZ HE'D BE TOO STUPID TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO HUNT!!!! HE'D WAIT FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO BRING HIM SUM MEAT!!!

  • THIS GUY IS DUMBER THAN A BAG OF ROCKS!!!! HE'S COMPLETELY OUT OF CONTROL!!!!

HE SAID: "IT (link between CO2 and temp.) IS A COUPLED SYSTEM. SURE IT'S POSSIBLE TO CHANGE TEMP AND IT'LL CHANGE CO2 LEVEL, BUT IT ALSO HAPPENS THE OTHER WAY AROUND ALSO" (not an exact quote but close). ANY PERSON IN SCIENCE KNOWS THAT ISN'T TRUE!!!!! THE PURPOSE OF SCIENCE IS TO FIND CAUSAL FACTORS!!!!! IF YOU KNOW ONLY CORRELATION THEN YOU"RE ACTUALLY JUST GUESSING!!! THIS GUY IS EQUIV. OF AN ALCHEMIST AT BEST!!

  • Owned. You can't argue with a man that has more cold hard facts in his head than you can look up in a week haha

  • Al Gore has nothing else to give his life meaning....no purpose. Earth = 4.5 billion years old. Humans recording temp = 200 years. Imagine a road that is 20 miles long; if you pull out your tape measure and examine the last 1/4 inch of that road, can you make an educated guess as to what direction the road is going or where it has been? Only fools buy into this shit. Dinosaurs became extinct because of temps....were they industrialized and burning gas in their cars? Idiots!

  • @tBusket Dinosaurs became extinct because of a sudden impact event. Massive things CAN happen suddenly, like changes in the climate. An abrupt climate shift happened 11500 years ago. It could happen today.

  • We're singing a little different song today, aren't we Joe. After a Carribean style hurrican made it's way up to kick the upper east coast in the teeth. Only warm ocean currents would allow that.

These butt wipes won't be happy until we're all lighting up our faucets and standing ankle deep in water!

  • Much of the IPCC are not scientists but another political party with an agenda... watch some videos you'll see..

  • ROTFL!!!! Recent data from satellites just proved that algore's tropophere assertion is flat out baseless and false. That is the very core of all those global warming models base their predictions on. It has also been proven solar maximums and minimums have a great effect on global temperatures. It has been proven that galactic radiation has more of an effect on global climate than CO2.

No wonder algore went ballistic and started uttering profanity in his recent presentations. Loser..

  • When you look at Al Gore's lifestyle it seems that he's as faithful to his beliefs in AGW as he was to his wife.

  • ppl think of Gore as a "saviour" of humanity, however, let's remember, he has made millions of dollars FLYING all over the globe to spread the "gospel" that he himself doesnt adhere to. how anyone can believe Gore is rediculous, remember, this is the same guy who claimed to invent the internet. a good amount of "specialist" in the U.N. on climate change are not scientist, but instead, are career politicians. there is NO man made climate change! true unbiased science proved this time again!

  • @killbilly2012 that is simply false. exactly which peer-reviewed studies and experts argue that there is no anthropogenic climate change? Patrick Michaels from Cato, whose research is 40% funded by the very fossil fuel industry responsible for catastrophic GHG emissions? S. Fried Singer, who in his own words worked relentlessly to "carefully delineate the government's role in regulating dangers"?! your views on this seem to have been tragically misguided by the corporate disinformation campaign.

  • @AlexSongAhn LOL what's false? That al gore's a hypocrit? That libtard false prophet fundamentalist not only refuses to have a debate with those that oppose his beliefs he lives a lifestyle that has a carbon footprint of 100s of families. If that isn't hypocrisy then what is? The more the so called science behind the global warming theory is debunked the more dire and shrill the predictions of consequences of global warming get like japanese quakes and tsunamis. LOL!

  • @AlexSongAhn It seems to require the founder of the Weather Channel and 30,000 other real scientists (not the radical environmental activists that make up a large portion of the IPCC influencing reports based on an agenda) have to SUE al gore to defend his assertions in a debate. That doesn't sound like a consensus to me.

  • A large percentage of people who deny global warming also deny evolution and think that the earth is only 6000 years old. People who don't understand basic biology can't possibly understand the complexity of the science behind climate change. Al Gore is only repeating what the majority of real scientists have found.

  • @boutchie06 Where are you getting these statistics from? These statistics which back up your whole theory? Are they coming from a credible source, which takes into account every possible angle? I can bring in some statistics of my own. I say 30 percent of cats are blueish-green. Is this statistic correct? of course not! The people I've met and talked to who believe in global warming are clueless or crazy, while it's the opposite for those who reject it.

  • @boutchie06 Also, who are these "real" scientists you speak of? How do you define what a "real" scientist is? Is a "real" scientist one who supports your personal beliefs? Does a scientist, who is "not real," not support what you personally believe? Or, do these supposed scientists, who are "not real", not exist? Also, what does biology have to do with the sciences that are involved with climate change, like meteorology, which has virtually nothing to do with the study of life.

  • @boutchie06 Last, before you answer, please think and answer carefully, bringing solid facts to the table, from credible sources. If all you can do at this point is say, "You're just another crazy!" or "You don't know what your talking about!" or "My dad can play baseball better than you!" please don't. That just tells me I've won. Thank you, and have a nice day. (That last quotation was a joke.)

  • So this D-bag rambles for 10 minutes and then interrupts Al after 2 minutes into his answer.

  • speaking of agendas.

  • It's all political interest and no science. Republicans will deny ANYTHING if it does not help their political agenda. Global warming was once a strictly scientific subject and was completely left out of politics. Back then there were few if any denials of it. Once it became a political subject THAT'S when the huge denials came in, smell something fishy? If 1+1=2 became a political subject and it didn't benefit the Republican agenda they too will DENY and try to prove that 1+1 does not equal 2.

  • When Joe isn't politicking he's giving handjobs oil lobbyists. What a whore.

  • @elway7171 .

Yes, I believe the NCDC is a credible source. Will you accept their conclusions?

If so, try reading the last four IPCC report summaries. NCDC/NOAA often references their conclusions. Have you read them.

It does sound like you are in denial. Why else would you choose to reject what the scientific institutions conclude in favor of your "expert" analysis? Honestly, why?

  • go check with the ncdc, although there is a general warming trend from 2005ish to 2009 we had a very noticeable cooling trend. IN fact you will find that in 2008-9 the annual avg. temp was lower than in the 1900. Further investigation of this same data will show you a general cooling trend all the way from 1950-80. Why would this happen when industrialization of most of the world was In a boom during the 1940's ww2 era? At the same time as that was happening we get a cooling trend for 30 years.

  • Al Gore is a green nazi

  • i feel sick when i read Climate Change Global Warming fanatics crap.

You people should be in a mental hospital.

oh yeah, the reason the "Establishment" wants people to fear climate change is so they can introduce more taxes, more idiotic laws, that FUCK us all up the ass.

YOu mental cowards should not reproduce, you are inspiration for birth control.

  • I actually feel sorry that Al gore has to deal with these mentally retarded republicans. He spends all this time criticizing his research with what? Not research but assumptions.

  • Impacts of warming temperatures in the news..climate change edition:

    .

    Malaria threatens Tanzania's highlands

    .

Mbeya. Tanzania’s southern highlanders have long worried about pneumonia and other respiratory illnesses brought on by the cool, wet weather. But as climate change contributes to warmer temperatures in the region, residents are facing a new health threat: malaria.

    .

    Dar es Salaam Citizen Tanzania

  • Al Gore's paid climate scientists studies have found, CO2 emissions from the US are the problem, not CO2 emissions from India or China

  • He is doing this to benefit himself and none other reason. He is good con.

  • How often you think Gore here takes the bus or train, or hops a commercial flight rather than his private jet?

  • Definitions of climate= the weather in "some" location averaged over "some" long "period" of time.So you can pick and choose the areas necessary to get the data or evidence to support any theory. If you want to create a global cooling swindle, all you need to do is gain data from your "chosen location" somewhere nice and cold should do it. And, hey presto! You have a credible theory with data to back it up.This is the case with global warming!Well done al-gore one of the best salesmen ever

  • google; the truth of the intercepted e mail, to read how the climate change crowd intentionally hid vital information and data that weakened their case. the famous hockey stick fraud is another item you wont want to adress. if you have decided to deal with this issue with a religious blind faith approach, that fine. just accept that others are seeking more information and not less. also research who stands to profit financially from this movement. you might find some big names behind it.

  • the intercepted emails are not nonsence. they reveal a conspiracy to skew the facts to make the arguement for global warming. the same climate change guys who predicted global cooling can be wrong again. the emails should give any rational person cause for doubt. and that adds up

  • @mikosaaol .

Wow, I'm not sure how much more misinformed you can be.

    .

Google: The Truth About the ClimateGate E-Mails: Begley - Newsweek

Google: 'Climategate' Investigation Clears UK Scientists

Google: 3rd Major 'ClimateGate' Investigation Vindicates Scientists

    .

So if you prefer to cling to your denial its best to avoid an honest analysis of the emails and their context. Denialists have only faith in their opinions. They certainly don't have any credible evidence they're right.

  • @ReduceGHGs: Agreed. I've never had any respect for the doomsayers, TBH, but the denialist side is the one that's doing the most damage at this point in time..........why haven't celebrity denialists like 'Lord' Monckton even tried to discuss the Koch Bros. or BP's screwups for example? They're useful idiots for the international oil/gas/nuclear concerns, that's what they are.

  • @ReduceGHGs We must push promotion of carbon taxes on the fascist countries that are responsible for Global Warming. I'm tired of these global warming holocaust deniers lying and saying China is the top polluter, or is building more Coal plants. All lies, China's democracy is leading the way in green technology, environmentalism, and democracy

  • @JoeJohn90 WTF.So because someone does there own scientific study and fact finding rather than listening to green peace and the IPCC they are also holocuast deniers?Isnt that a fascists comment.? Was you aware that More than two million Chinese youths die each year from health problems related to indoor air pollution, with nearly half of them under five years of age, state media cited a government study as saying.

  • @JoeJohn90 The study released by the China Centre for Disease Control and Prevention said indoor pollution levels can often be 5-10 times higher than those measured in the nation's notoriously bad outdoor air, the China News Service said. But yeah there leading the way in enviromentalism and clean air etc etc?

Do your research before making such presumptuous ludacris statements

  • @JoeJohn90 More than two million Chinese youths die each year from health problems related to indoor air pollution, with nearly half of them under five years of age, state media cited a government study as saying.

  • @JoeJohn90 .

Carbon Taxes are less likely than Cap & Trade. I recommend Gore's recent book Our Choice as well as James Hansen's book Storms Of My Grandchildren.

China is making some good progress. Not that I advocate it but their type of governing system can force change more easily than ours. Even now in the US we have law suits (vested interest encouraged) trying to stop the EPA from regulating CO2 pollution.

Google: Efforts to Fight Climate Change Revive Optimism

    Enjoy & take care!

  • read all of the scientific institutions....agreed. in the 70s they were warning of global cooling. gore is a fraud...wake up.

  • @mikosaaol

Google: Study debunks 'global cooling' concern of '70s - USATODAY

    .

Try reading and leaning about the issue before parroting nonsense. Here's your logic: "because a few were wrong about that over 30 years it mean the current experts are wrong about this today."

    It just doesn't add up.

    .

I prefer to listen to what the most respected sources (NASA, NAS, AGU, NOAA, NCAR, SOCC, etc.) have been saying. They all basically agree. You have better, more reliable sources? No.

  • gores company sells the carbon credits................wake up.

  • @mikosaaol .

Gore has nothing to do with the science..... wake up!

Read what ALL of our respected scientific institutions have been saying.

We humans are warming the planet and the consequences are not good. This is well established.

The idea of carbon credits goes back to the 70s and was NOT Gore's idea.

    Wake up!

  • Hold your breathe everyone your causing global warming. When a baby is born the first breathe he/she will exhale will be causing the death of a polar bear!Tax it, Tax the breathe of everyone on earth! I propose a breathing tax.Im now going to right a bok and make a film called, "breathing kills" and then brainwash the entire population so they buy into it, and then i can make a shit load of cash.

  • If every form of co2 on earth came to a halt, (which it wouldn't) the entire planet would seize to exist, ourselves included. How do trees and other plant life create energy to grow and reproduce?Via co2, basic primary school science! Yet masses no longer seem to be able to problem solve with basic logic and common sense so they turn to a salesmen(Al Gore) for answers, and the masses eat it up like they do breakfast in the morning!

  • global warming is happening. dont say it is not, just research about it, look for articles, researches... those does NOT include wikipedia

  • @leoleony1 Oh right so when was the last time you took a trip through every area of the earths atmosphere, with your thermometer documenting the the change in temperature on a global scale?Yesterday.?

Buy into any arguement that helps you sleep at night, but plain and simple, The earths climate warms and cools continuously, from every second to every milliion years, before man made global warming was invented the climate warmed significantly after the ice age hence there is no longer an ice age!

  • @MrVforvendetta10, im a researcher, this is one of my area of expertise, what about you? please, if you're going to debate with me, seriously, try to study the subject a bit to don't say nonsense.

  • @leoleony1Research LORD MONCKTON, a very wise and intelligent man he was at one point the environemnt minister under Margeret Thatcher, now leader of Uk independance party inventor of the eternity puzzle etc.Not some bs so called conspiracy nut job that many like you seem to think of people with my views. He will out argue any global warming spinster and anyone dumb enough to believe in it.Oh and over the past few years in the uk its been colder than usual.Just had the coldest ever year on record!

  • @MrVforvendetta10: And therein lies one of the problems: The guy worked for Thatcher.........now as for weather, I recall that here in the U.S. back last year, we had one of the warmest early springs on record{some places as far north as Maine were hitting 80 on occasion!}...........now whether or not that can be substantially chalked up to human influence, I can't say............

  • ........but then again, I'm in North America and we are a long way from suffering the full effects{mainly because of where we are}at this point, but I'm afraid much of the rest of the world hasn't been so lucky; has anybody else noticed the increasing frequency of heatwaves in Western Europe, for example, or that Moscow recently hit 100 degrees for the first time in a long while?

    It's happening, folks...........

  • @MiracleMile90 And i could counterbalance that with the fact that mexico has had the coldest winter in 60 years, so does that mean were entering a state of global cooling? No! It means mexico had the coldest winter in 60 years."Mosocow hit 100 degrees for the 1st time in a long while", does that mean there is global warming? No.It means moscow hit 100 degrees for the first time in a long while!Science is supposed to be unbiased but sadly thats not the case in this era.

  • @MrVforvendetta10 are you aware that you're using a scientist from the 70s to back you up with a subject that has only been lighted up in the past 10 years? you have a gap of about 25years between today's science and and yours, you need an immediate update

  • @MrVforvendetta10 Gore would make Monckton look like a monkey. Gore has been studying global warming for thirty years. Monkey Monckton is a fool.

  • Umm the benifits are easy to find, Gore and his friends are set to make trillions of dollars...money, what else?

  • Jesus on a hand cart. Did any of these feckless, dithering flag wavers ever serve the military. "Smokie"Joe me thinks you doth protest to much!

  • anyone notice he didnt answer the question

  • what a disgrace! Al Gore should be made to leave the country! what a disgrace! there are 5 truths that a politician needs to accept:

    global warming is a fraud

    no planes on 9/11 {inside job}

    vaccines are deadly poison

    chemtrails are killing the environment {see georgia guide stones}

    fluoride is rat poison!

DONT VOTE FOR ANYBODY THAT DOES NOT RESPECT THIS

    HARLEYBURNOUT [X] COM

  • @vhsjvc. Were you asleep in the climatology classes in elementary school? CO2 is a greenhouse gass that stops heatwaves from the sun being reflected back into space. CO2 levels are far higher today than before the Industrial Revolution. What is there to discuss?

  • @S1Nicator Climatology class in elementary school? That's a problem in itself.

  • @pburto. Oh? So it's all a global conspiracy? to...... To do what? Control people? I am Norwegian and the entire Norwegian economy is based on oil yet we still recognize man made global warming. Do we want to destroy our own economy? Almost all scientists agree on the greenhouse effect. There is no good arguement against the greenhouse effect. It is scientific fact! WHAT IS THERE TO DEBATE?!

  • Every one knows that 911 was an inside job right? You see, the King James Version of the bible is really the word of God. The (kjv) bible tells us that we are living in Satan's kingdom. Thus, we are all going fulfill our moral duty and expose the father of all lies by posting the 911 was an inside job icon right?

  • Fast forward 2009, IPCC e mails show they are a fraud.

A push to make air travel more environmentally friendly

  • @Nightversionn if 250 people take a flight from one city to another, they're releasing less CO2 than if they all drove in seperate cars. Just sayin..

  • Joe Barton! The world's cooling, not warming, but a drone-on dud like Barton hasn't got the spine to gore Al with an icicle where the sun don't shine.

  • This guy doesn't understand a word that he read from his paper. What a dumb ass. Why Americans vote dumb asses like him to rule their country is beyond my comprehension.

  • Keep spreading manbearpig awareness.....this is very serious.

  • Al Gore is a business man, not an environmentalist.

  • GOP has a good sense of humor...I heard this guy Joe Barton is in the short list to chair the energy commission...the one which makes decision on how much (if at all) to invest in renewable energy....god save us..

  • LOL and Al Gore is a saint?? He spews his crap about how we all have to do something about global warming...ever seen his house?? it uses more power than half the town I live in combined! He also flies his private jet wherever he goes...wow, hes awesome!! HYPOCRITE

  • Look at the dude in front, he doesn't care at all...

  • Joe Barton... what a douche

  • When do you know Al Gore is lying. When his lips move

  • Al Gore is a moron

  • I think the most irritating thing about gore is that he knows how to work the system. He skips around questions and makes up his own facts. He runs up all the time, so he doesn't have to answer.

Global warming is a hell of a science fiction story, but nothing else.

  • @Tomithy285 what, exactly, is the benefit of making up such a lie? it seems to me that there is a LOT of reason to DENY global warming and almost NO reason to say global warming is actually happening...unless, of course, it actually IS happening. don't be so naive.

  • @whereisthelin3

Al Gore was worth $1 million in 2000. In 2007 Gore was worth $100 million according to ABC. Now his worth is estimated at $200 million. That's what investing in green industries like Kleiner Perkins while creating green hysteria will do.

Al Gore doesn't believe in global warming! He just bought a home on the California coast where he said sea levels would cover. He continues flying private jets. His home uses 10x the energy of the avg home

If he doesn't believe it why should we?

  • @YTSurferX whatever oil troll

  • @Nightversionn It's either that or coal. Go kiss Gore's tush.

  • @YTSurferX

Al Gore's paid climate scientists studies have shown CO2 emissions from the Us are the problem, not CO2 emissions from India or China

  • @JoeJohn90 How convenient, haha. I wish he'd go move to a commune somewhere and stop polluting the earth with his hot air.

  • @JoeJohn90: That was one thing he was wrong on: the majority of pollution does indeed come from India and the Pustulous Rattrap of Fascist China{aka, the "People's Republic" of China.

  • @whereisthelin3 Its called money. Mr. Gore makes how much to speak about AWG around the world. The cap and trade system he is pushing for makes which companies money? Solar and wind companies cost more money to make electricity and require gov't money to subsidize the cost, GE makes CFL light bulbs with dangerous mercury inside. Scientists make money studying it climate change research went from 170 million pre 1990 to 2 billion after 1990. Obama has given even more, how about envrio journalist

  • @MultiTacs the revenue engendered by this theory goes far beyond gore's pockets.. imagine how much money they make with ''environmental'' sales, it's just a BIG load of money

  • @whereisthelin3 oh yea there is no reason to preach global warming hard, no money involved or anything like it right?.. fucking idiot

  • @whereisthelin3 your joking right !!!

Al Gore owns or is on the board of at least 4 eco-companys, that will make billions of dollars. It gives companys that support them to FREELY move out the country, cause of eco tax. The same pollution will be admitted, just not in our country and not paying for American workers.

  • @whereisthelin3 your joking right !!!

Al Gore owns or is on the board of at least 4 eco-companys, that will make billions of dollars. It gives company's that support them to FREELY move out the country, cause of Eco tax. The same pollution will be admitted, just not in our country and not paying for American workers.

  • @whereisthelin3 What is the reason for such a lie.? Why do governemnts usually lie?For profit, i thought that woud of been pretty obvious by analysing policies that have been introduced over decades.Carbon taxes, green taxes generating billions for the governments that support it and the corperations that fund the policy pushes. And not forgetting the lobbyists which care more for the money than they do the policy/person there working for!

  • @whereisthelin3 One of the biggest pushers for the whole global warming bs is one of the biggest oil tycoons in the world and he still continues to pump oil, whilst telling the world they should stop using it.Is that not a hypocrit?Do some research and your find out who the man is and how hes set to profit more from green taxes than from oil?Obviously knowones ever seen or heard of this man, because his puppets are his layer of security and secrecy!Wake up or shut up!

  • @whereisthelin3 Clearly the environmentalists just want to destroy America and control the world through cap and trade.

  • @whereisthelin3

    what can they benefit?

everyones distracted while the government uses Global warming and the middle east conflict to achieve elite globalist goals on the massive checklist of things their doing.

    wake up America.

    V-for-Victory.

  • @whereisthelin3 HAHA SO FUN, did you know that Al Gore as start a CARBON CREDIT COMPANY in 2004 with GoldmanSax and he's going to make LOT OF MONEY selling those carbon credit to big company permitting them to keep polluting!

  • @holamaria27 Actually his profits go back into a non-profit group raising awareness on the issue of global warming. So he has no money to gain from a carbon tax

  • @whereisthelin3 Al Gore has partnered with and invested in companies that will profit from our country "going green". So he will in fact benefit from lying about it. I'm not claiming that he is lying, but he has millions to gain by doing so. Don't be so naive yourself. Almost all scientists agree warming is caused mainly by water vapor in the atmosphere, reflectivity, and sun cycles. CO2 increase is more of an effect of global warming than it is a cause. I'm all for decreasing pollution however.

  • @elway7171 Some people that don't think CO2 pollution is a problem simply lack information. Try reading what the respected scientific institutions have concluded. We are changing the composition of the atmosphere. There are negative consequences. Sure, there are other sources of pollution but altering the carbon cycle to the extent we have will change climates for hundreds, even thousands of years. No small "accomplishment".

Google: Scientific Opinion on Climate Change Wikipedia

  • @ReduceGHGs There are also scientists opposed to that position in a link from that very same wikipedia post. I urge you to google: co2 man made percentage and refer to the charts from geocraft. My professors in chemistry from college even said that from their point of view co2 has almost no heat holding properties that would cause global warming. information is not accurate for temperature rise either, look up climategate2 us govt caught hiding temps . I do not lack information at all.

  • @elway7171

Ask your chemistry professors if they have training and experience in the climate sciences. If they say yes, then ask them if they have a study that concludes CO2 can't the cause of the warming. A chemistry professor with an unsupported opinion counts for nothing, sorry. What makes them think that they have a better grasp of the climate sciences than that of ALL the respected institutions?

    .

also Google: Climategate Scientist Cleared in Inquiry, Again: Scientific American

  • @elway7171 .

    FYI

In case you missed, it was the US Gov under the w/cheney admin that covered up warnings about global warming. I watched the congressional hearings and saw the edited documents.

Google: Bush administration accused of doctoring scientists' reports

YouTube search: Bush Admin: Censoring Science Global Warming 1/4

  • @ReduceGHGs Thus is our current government policy for both parties, spin cycle something until it fits what you want. That is called politics. This still doesn't change the minimal if any impact co2 has on global warming. I'm not denying that there has been a warming over the past century, scientists clearly agree on that but over the past few years we have actually had a global cooling despite the rise in co2. Man could be the cause of warming, but i dont think its from co2.ex. landscape change

  • @elway7171 .

You didn't provide support for your claim of "minimal if any impact" for CO2. EVERY ONE of our respected scientific institutions concurs on this. What makes your opinion and/or that of your professors' more reliable? Do you have ANYTHING credible to rely on?

Cooling over the past few years? What? Man, you are sadly misinformed.

    .

Google: NOAA: First eight-month period ties global heat record

    .

No politics. Read what the experts have been saying for years.

  • @ReduceGHGs I did provide in one of my first things i asked you to look up. Obviously you would rather finger poke and name call than to look things up as I have looked up what links you have put in. I would advise that perhaps you just put the effort in to lookup the other side of the argument and weigh both sides. Obviously with a username like yours though you will not do this because you have a bias plain and simply. I used to think on the other side but changed my view based on research.

  • @elway7171 . You referenced "climategate". In my reply I provided the analysis of that issue. Here it is again.

Google: Google: Climategate Scientist Cleared in Inquiry, Again: Scientific American

Your other sources was a page by Monte Hieb. Try researching who he is and the coal industry he supports. He is NOT a scientist and he has no studies to back up his claims. It's pure propaganda. Why no rely on respected credible sources like NASA, NOAA, AAAS, NAS, AGU, and others?

  • @elway7171 .

    .

    Climate gate... refuted

    World is cooling... refuted

    monte hieb site... debunked

    CO2 min. impact... refuted

    .

Do you have ANY credible sources? I don't think so. You have only your unsupported BELIEF.

That isn't good enough for a critical thinker. And when they choose to ignore all the respected sources it is sadly symptomatic of someone in denial.

  • @elway7171 .

With additional research your post was wrong? Here's what NCDC says about recent temps.

    .

"The recent warmth has been greatest over North America and Eurasia between 40 and 70°N. Lastly, seven of the eight warmest years on record have occurred since 2001 and the 10 warmest years have all occurred since 1995."

    .

I recommend not trying to play scientist. Those that have been educated and trained in the climate sciences know more about it. Try this... UCSUSA(dot)org

  • @ReduceGHGs you didnt even look up what i told you to, wow your just being ignorant. go plot from 2001-2010 and you will see that it shows a cooling trend over that time period of -.89 for that decade. Until you at the very least acknowledge this fact dont even waste my time any longer. Other people will go look up this info as well and it just weakens all your argument to deny the facts that you asked for and I have provided. Annual 2001 - 2010 Trend = -0.89 degF / Decade (copied from ncdc site

  • @elway7171 Yes I did look it up. Have a look at the bottom of the page and see who wrote it. Look HIM up. I did. You don't check your sources do you?

So you ARE playing scientist on the temps aren't you? hy is your opinion of NCDC information worth anything if you don't trust NCDC/NOAA's conclusions? Let's say you are right about the last 10 year temps. So what? If you expect temps to behave in regular uninterrupted manners you are badly mistaken, they NEVER behave that way.

  • @ReduceGHGs Look HIM up? I was referring to the ncdc site and there isnt a him. You say so what? Your the one who said i was making it up. You said that a cooling trend in recent years is refuted. It is in fact not. You obviously dont know how to have an intelligent debate so I am not going to waste my time any longer. It is the behavior like yours that weakens your argument. Fear tactics and such don't work and neither does name calling or false accusations. I never claimed to be a scientist.

  • @elway7171 You removed the post but it was NOT a NCDC site. Here it is as YOU posted it.

"climvis.ncdc.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/cag3/hr-display3.pl" Again, I researched the coal "tool" that put the site together. Why don't you check your sources?

I rely on what EVERY ONE of our respected scientific institutions have told us. HUMANS are warming the planet and the consequences are not good. You have provided nothing to counter this well established fact. AND, you'll provide no studies. Go figure.

  • @ReduceGHGs I do however have the ability to research and make my own hypothesis and conclusions from that data. The data doesnt show that what happening right now is the result of man made co2, the data shows that only a very small % of warming is caused by man made co2. There is more warming contributed from man caused methane, urbanization, landscape changing, and other factors than co2. Scientists and meteorologists like james spann are shunned if they wont support man caused global warming.

  • @ReduceGHGs People like you just say others are wrong and wont have the logical debate over and science involved in how we are causing global warming via co2. Until that logical debate has been had then Global warming supporters should be looked at as fear mongers imposing THEIR beliefs and propaganda unto others. If and when this issue is treated in a truly scientific way and the results show otherwise.... then I will not buy into it. The behavior is too suspicious if they are actually right.

  • @elway7171 . I sit corrected. I just gave you the wrong site and can't find the one I was referring to. It's possible that I've confused posters.

But I'll be happy to consider evidence you can provide from a respected scientific body or a credible study. Otherwise, your OPINION of CO2 carries no weight. Try reading what the experts say. Wiki has a good site for their position statements.

Google: Scientific Opinion on Climate Change Wiki

denial recovery... Google: The Denial Machine Video

  • @elway7171 . I found your post. Here it is...

    .

"I urge you to google: co2 man made percentage..."

Here the first site that come up... Global Warming: A closer look at the numbers

    .

I did look at this site. Its developer is backed by the coal industry. They make reference to many charts but its nothing but carbon industry propaganda.

  • @ReduceGHGs wnd. com / ? page Id = 43141 (remove spaces) several scientists and meteorologists listed on this one. Are all of those people's names tainted?

  • @elway7171 .

Don't you find it "odd" that you have to dig for evidence that have your point of view? What is wrong with reliance on AAAS, NAS, NASA, NOAA, AGU, NCAR, SOCC, and all the others? This is NOT a trick question.

    .

So if you think you have a grasp of the very complex climate sciences you can critique the debunking of Schwartz's study. Here it is.

    .

    Google: RealClimate: Climate Insensitivity

    .

Digging through mountains of credible evidence to find support for denial. Sad.

  • @ReduceGHGs AAAS, NAS, NASA, NOAA, AGU, NCAR, SOCC<< they are all private organizations with "federal" funding. They are not INDEPENDENT!

If you truly believe that carbon dioxide is bad, then you just condemned you and your family. There are FAR greater polutants creating a danger in our environment....carbon dioxide is NOT one of them!

  • @fury350z .

Why is it that scientific research requires We The People funding? Have you really thought about it? It is funded because there is no profit in it. It is for the benefit of all of us that we understand the world in which we live so we can prepare for what lies ahead.

Sorry, you have CO2 wrong. Although CO2 is essential for life as we know it, too much of it is harmful. That is why it is now considered an atmospheric pollutant.

Read this book... The Carbon Age

  • @ReduceGHGs Do you really think that the million dollar toilet in the space shuttle is going to benefit us? How about the "clean water act" where the EPA allows "some" pollutants in the water? Really?? How about Al Gore the leader behind all this nonsense, he is a share holder of one of the key companies to try and implement cap and trade and stands to PROFIT from it!!! Conflict of interest?? You tell me!

  • Al Gore has been called out by other REAL scientist (30k+ of them) and he refuses to entertain any civilized questioning. I read an article somewhere where even his own scientist disagreed with him during the early stages of his project and he fired them all and got new ones...."YES MEN!!" Sure CO2 in obscene quantities could be harmful, but so could oxygen, or vitamin C..whats your point? Are you saying we should put legislation on oxygen and vitamin C too?

  • @ReduceGHGs Dude, there is a much bigger agenda attached to this global warming hoax. And don't ask me for proof, look it up! When did Al Gore ever give a shit about the people? Hairspray has 100x more pollutants than 100 humanbeings exhaling Co2. Bring me an argument worth responding to.

    Have a good day!

  • @fury350z .

Hoax? Where is the foundation for that claim? I know you don't have one. ALL of our respected scientific institutions say we are warming the planet. It's solid science no matter your unfounded beliefs. Gore has been telling us what the experts have been saying for over 30 years.

Thanks for telling me about CO2. We learned that back in sixth grade though. Try learning.

Google: NAS pdf Global Warming 2008 Edition

Your lack of information is curable IF you care to learn.

  • @ReduceGHGs You are so right comrade, teabaggers are racist nazis and are holocaust deniers as well as global warming deniers. Once we can curb the fascist US emissions, global warming will stop. China is leading the way in the green revolution and the fascists lie and say china is the leading polluter, which is just more teabagging racist lies. China is paving the way leading to a clean and renewable future. Keep up the great work comrade

  • @ReduceGHGs

I think the irony here is that solid science also claims that the more co2 emissions released the more sunlight is reflected. There is a strong contradiction in terms of co2 itself. Now pollution is another thing, obviously pollution for human health and standards of living are very much so affected, for crying out loud you can actually come down with allergies by living and breathing next to big highways. But to say that every big mainstream science foundation co2 is pure fiction

  • @joker11789z .

Thanks for our "analysis" of CO2. What are your qualifications? Do you have a sufficient grasp of the very complex climate sciences? CO2 emissions ARE atmosphere pollution. Perhaps you haven't read what all our respected scientific institutions have been saying. Or, do you think you know better? If so, it's a delution. Among those that actively study climate change science there is not credible debate over the core issue. The active "debate" is among the much less informed.

  • @ReduceGHGs You are arrogant and disinformed, your knowledge about CO2 is out of TV get informed CO2 is 0.04% of atmospheric gases and less than 3% of it comes from human activities, educate yourself instead of believing everything the TV tells you!!!

  • @sadol11 .

Thanks for your "scientific" analysis of CO2. I'll give it DUE consideration.

    But...

Tell me what makes your opinion more reliable than AAAS, NAS, AGU, NOAA, NASA, and all the other scientific bodies that study the issue?

In addition, I don't get my education from the TV. I've read many books about how humans are affecting the biosphere and I've been reading what the many studies have determined over the last three decades. How about you? Is it your BELIEF that you rely on?

  • Comment removed

  • @elway7171 Doesn't it boggle your mind sometimes.....some people......just like the saying goes, "there's a sucker born every day....."

    Keep up the truth.

  • @ReduceGHGs oh and watch Relationship between CO2 and global warming hardly measurable on youtube. This just scratches the surface of my point on global warming.

  • go suck BP'S oil pump you neocon piece of shit Barton

  • @viletree dud you know al gore had a big part in nafta sending all of are factory jobs over seas to china and is completely lieing about global warming and the only reason why is is all about global warming is because being green is way of life for alot of people which is great, but Al Gore is just trying to get these people be about being green for political reasons. Where he owns a house i forget which state but the electric company come out and says his electric bill is 3000 a month

  • @viletree

Just send your money to Gore directly, he'll gladly take it.

If you're so worried about the environment, plant some trees, give up eating meat, stop driving and start walking (no biking--uses energy to melt that metal and has rubber tires!), ditch your tv, ditch your computer, stop buying plastic, lose the refrigerator, stop cooking your food, and then wave at your hero Gore when he flies over your tee pee spewing his jet fuel exhaust all over your lettuce crop.

  • @YTSurferX Don't worry son the reserves of oil are endless, they just dont happen to be in the continental United States. So we need to go attack every country with a 23 trillion dollar hole in the ship, and fund the wars with our children's fiat currency, because oil will never run out and and only patriots die for BP, Chevron, and Big Coal and Big Oil. Retarded neocon turd

  • @viletree

Far from neocon. The reason we're going overseas and killing for oil is not because oil is scarce, but because envirowhackos like Gore keep blocking domestic drilling.

  • @YTSurferX Oh yeah, because that will really solve anything, please spare me I'm not a green nut. First off, Barton has no business talking when he receives financing from Oil barons, and secondly it's not as if you or anyone would ever do any of those ridiculous actions. But when peak oil comes in our lifetime, you and I will both be fucked because of retards like you with that "Drill baby drill" mentality.

  • @viletree

"Drill baby drill" mentality is "retarded" now? I thought you were sick of wars over oil. Which is it?

I'd rather us be a self-reliant peaceful nation than one fighting so you can drive to work and back.

And, btw, look up how much eating meat pollutes the earth. I've done, in my 12+ years as a vegetarian more to "help the earth" than Gore has by investing in mercury-filled light bulbs.

You seem intelligent, how can you buy into Gore's hypocrisy?

FYI, the earth is cooling, not warming!

  • @viletree

Oil, much like diamonds, is far far from scarce.

  • @viletree BP'S oil pump keeps you alive, unless your living in the forest growing your own vegetables, you stupid ignorant american.

  • @porilster Wrong you Twat, we get most of our oil from SAOC, not BP you moron. And secondly, you actually support this neocon and his corporate masters? You are the fucking idiot.

  • @viletree Way to call people names how about you talk facts Gore's film has been discredited by a UK high court judge. Its also classified as political propaganda in UK schools now. Stick to facts not claim calling.

  • @MultiTacs ololol once again I never once claimed that I believe in global warming, I'm fairly neutral on the issue, and I am aware that elements in the video are rather dubious.

  • @viletree

What an uneducated response. The oil conglomerates wrote this carbon credit fiasco, they stand to make billions, they sell oil at vastly inflated prices on the back of your legislation.

Gore won't even answer the question, let alone debate with a scientist, a true snake oil salesman.

  • @deadrebel2 The only legitimate scientists are the ones that remain skeptical, I'm not a believer in global warming per se, so much as I am against the multi billion dollar oil barons that along with multinational corporations pull the strings of the government. But hey whatever, put what into what you want, anyone thats seen an inconvenient truth knows the graphs are manipulated and the data figures are grossly exaggerated

  • @viletree Global Warming is still a hoax and fraud.

  • I can easily read off of a q-card, just like this guy. I wish I was privileged enough to be a politician, I;d straighten all of those bureaucrats out.

  • Global warming is not a hoax, don't believe the denier oil troll sock puppets who lies all over youtube (they are all the same person).

    .

That's what Big Oil money can buy, not a good thing.

  • climategate is just the tip of the ice berg! global warming is a hoax! It is all about the money!

  • wake up... a bit ago it was terrorism now its global warming. What will be the next thing to fear? Such a joke. Watch what happens when a volcano erupts. Puts our cars and factories to shame. The earth is going to shake us off like we are fleas when we are all dead.

  • i'm very glad that the people of the U.S. are starting to realize the absurdity of Human Caused Global Warming.

there used to be a consensus among scientists that the world was flat - and i believe that future generations will scoff at the scientists who said that the debate is over. Future generations will be even more appalled at the amount of money we have spent on this scam

  • @CaChing14: The problem is, the real equivalent of the old 'flat earth' theory is exactly the opposite of what GW proponents{honest ones, btw.} are putting out.........it's called 'denialism' and if they and the flat earthers existed in the same period they'd be close friends. ;-)

  • Scientists threatened for 'climate denial'

    By Tom Harper

Scientists who questioned mankind's impact on climate change have received death threats and claim to have been shunned by the scientific community.

They say the debate on global warming has been "hijacked" by a powerful alliance of politicians, scientists and environmentalists who have stifled all questioning about the true environmental impact of carbon dioxide emissions

Carbon Trading, Carbon Taxes, government (taxpayer) subsidies

  • Good to see a bit of common sense is finally being spoken out loud.

The Environment is worthy of protection, but only in those cases where it is TRULEY in danger and only by using methods that respect the freedom and industry of human beings..

  • "The planet has a fever." What an idiot.

  • @rdseheult

"The planet has a fever", and Al Gore suffers from psychosis.

  • Hello BP representative Joe Barton. Don't vote for this idiot!@!!@@@ Go serve in England bitch.

  • Climate change news for serious people...

    .

UK says green growth can boost economy by 2 pct.

    .

Britain's new low-carbon programme to develop wind farms and promote green jobs will boost the economy by 1.5 to 2 percent, offsetting the effect of fiscal tightening, the energy and climate minister said.

    .

    Reuters

    15 September 2010

  • "Exxonmobil corp., the world's largest crude oil refiner, supports taxing carbon dioxide as the most efficient way of curbing greenhouse gas emissions, its chief executive said.

"As a businessman, it's hard to speak favourably about any new tax, but a carbon tax strikes me as a more direct, more transparent and more effective approach," Rex Tillerson, CEO of the Irving, Texas based company, said Thursday at the Woodrow Wilson international center for scholars in Washington."

  • Al is right.Yes,he's trying to prophet of this---but global warming IS happening. Why do you think all these planes are flying around spraying trails that turn into clouds?? To COOL DOWN THE PLANET,THATS WHY!!We have a serious problem and the governments of the world ALL KNOW IT.So regardless of what you think of Al's motives,he's dead on about this issue. Its pathetic to see the oil companies try to blur this issue and make it "questionable",and claim its not happening.

  • Weird process. The politician asking the question to the guest gets to ask a ten minute long question/giving of opinion and the guest gets 2 minutes to answer.

  • Oil funded Global Warming facts:

"The European Climate Exchange (ECX) was launched by CCX in 2005, and is now the leading exchange operating in the EU Emissions Trading Scheme. Since 2006, CCX and ECX have been owned by Climate Exchange PLC.

More than 65 leading businesses, including global companies such as ABN AMRO, Barclays, BP, Calyon, E.ON UK, Fortis, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Shell have signed up for membership to trade ECX products."

  • @Dayversion Come on!! The oil companies are the ones behind the "There is no global warming" propaganda. They dont want there to be ANY move away from oil to green energy/alternative energy----As you would expect!!
