I have to admit though TB might have done poor at the baths but that level is just a bitch in itself to 5 skull. You have to be almost perfect with your archers and sticky traps and one fuck up can cost you the 5 star. It's really hard and I don't feel bad for TB having that much trouble.

@sparkinman Taste is subjective. Personally I wouldn't say this was the greatest game ever, but it wasn't a waste of money when I got it on sale, and was fun for the hours I put into it. Figuring out nice trap placement and improving upon it is something not everyone enjoys. Same as there are people who prefer RTS to FPS, or vice versa.

i think the windbelt is the best item in the game, especially when you get a chong load of enemies coming at you it really lets off the pressure a bit just herding them away.

@KalebGaal It's actually even easier than what TB did. Use barricades to make all the orcs funnel over to one hall (set the barricades to just AFTER the stairs that connect the halls), then set up all your traps as needed in the hall that you're forcing them all to. They'll only break down barricades if you completely block them from getting to the rift that they want to go to.

i bought it. its a great game, youl find youself failing levels untill you come up witha good stratgey to beat them. It has a harder difficulty setting which scales very well. First few attempts youl say its impossible but then youl discover a trick and progress. A lotof depth for what looks like a repetitive game

Amazing game. 10/10. To address reviewer concerns: you get a couple of upgrade trees that allow you to make melee weapons and crossbow better in different ways. You also get different weapons that cost mana to use, i.e. fireballs, lightning bolts, etc.

The reviewer didn't use any of the AOE stun alternate on his crossbow - it eats mana but is super useful in early situations for making orcs stay in traps longer.

Protip: You can return to the rift and stand inside of it to restore health/mana.

You can also eventually choose between two magical girls that will provide upgrades to either your traps or your weapons, but those upgrades cost money and only last for that game. Starts Act 2.

@BipolarStoner420 hmm, I've never experienced any of what your talking about. My games are always available to me, even when my internet goes down, I can just go to offline mode. I don't know about lag, Whenever I lag I don't think it's steam. It'd be pretty memorable if the lag was that bad or consistent, and I'd investigate.

The unavailable msg isn't that common but when it happens on a multi game its annoying but I can tend to get it to work thru persistence. I can just go offline to solve the problems on other games though. Its small things but annoyances none the less.

Awesome game. It's EXCEPTIONALLY rare that I will 100% a game, I've been playing games for 20 years and I can count on the fingers of two hands the games I've 100%-ed.

And all I'm saying is, when someone does 100% your game, just give them some small token of recognition. Anything really, a new weapon, a new hairstyle, even just a different picture on the menu screen.

And I know it's not even that big a deal to 5 skull every level, if it was a genuinely hard game I'd have given up...
