This is all politics !!! BJP is in such a mess .They don't have leadership they don't have issues. They have over aged leaders. They want to make controversies and have attention.

BJP came in to the picture with hindutva . They were in power and they were not different with congress in terms of corruption, trying to please people etc.

People are growing as a nation and understanding that BJP is not good in power not good in opposition.

where india is looking ahead .BJP looking 60 years back.

Well I don't know about BJP and politics, but the MAN did some research (per Rajasthan background, his interest is obvious) about it and simply presented what he found. Some people want history to be limited to the version that shows up in school books. And as he said, if anyone disagrees, they may conduct their own research and prove him wrong.

I partly agree with Jaswant Singh, and appreciate his views. More than reiterating what partition has done to the various communities in the subcontinent, he attempts to send a strong message to the present India to realise its past mistakes and start addressing the real issues b4 it is too late..

BJP is a confused party, Jinnah deseves Nobel prize, He created pakistan just for fun. This is what Jaswant says. Congress should never welcome this foolish guy. Jinnah was not secular but not fanatic but he created pakistan for his own selfishness. Jaswant's english itself is atrocious.

I respect Jaswant Singh for quoting the truth regardin the partition However, one must also not forget that Jinnah was not a very Islamic man, but then he was deeply influenced by Islam by the early 1930s when he was told by Allama Iqbal to pursue an Islamic State

Pakistan and India cannot unite since the Muslims of Pakistan dont just want the right to pray, they want the right to live according to the laws of state provided by the Qur'an. India and Pak shud be friends but CAN NEVER unite! :)
