That is so funny!! My Boxers did the same thing! Everything was gone on the tree as far up as they could jump. The worst part is our brindle female she smiles at you when she knows she's in trouble so its really hard to be mad at her. Needless to say it always a lot easier putting the christmas decor away becuase we have way less by the time it's all over. I love my boxers though...wouldn't trade them for anything!!! Beautiful dogs, great video!

Two words: crate training. Save your sanity, save your ornaments, keep your boxers out of trouble and out of harms way. You are fortunate neither of them ate ornaments or got broken glass in their paws. Aside from that, they are nice looking boxers. I have one and he is a living, breathing cartoon.

I wouldn't crate them - but you could put an ex-pen or baby gate around the tree. Also, my tree has only been decorated on the upper half for several years.... seems like we always have a young boxer around when you finally get the older one to leave the tree alone! :)

@jrichholland Sorry, I didn't explain myself clearly. Yes, crate training is essential for all dogs. I meant: rather than crate them 24/7 around the holidays so they don't eat the tree, instead put an ex-pen around the tree.

I have the same combo of Boxers at home with me. My flashy is the trouble maker whereas my fawn looks the other way as if "You know I didn't do it. He did it!" All you can do is love them! LOL!

OMG! I have 2 boxers and I can relate to this video! Aren't Boxers the BEST dogs EVER? I LOVE the way you made this video. @tryby12 Not really.....Boxer owners should know that they must provide an exercise outlet so that their Boxers won't be destructive. Naughtiness in a Boxer is born of boredom or lack of stimulus.

@tryby12 Erm.... No!!! My Boxer of 8 years I can honestly say has never damaged one thing in my house. We give her her own toys, and stimulus and she is very playful and happy without being destructive

I Have two beautiful treasures: Hannah (3 1/2 years) and Lukas (3 years).... they are my life.... and make my life easy and happy with all their love and occurrences...
