  • We usually have our full beams on if anything, I'm always getting blinded! Also whats it like with the visor having rain on it? Do you keep wiping it or put up with it? I'm sure you've done a video including this but nearly 1000 videos is a lot to look through! :)

  • Mmm, bacon.

  • sometimes I forget to turn my headlights on but I usually remember

  • im mister cautious lol BRUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!

  • he does have a point, in light rain we dont, but when it comes down heavy, thats when the lights come on, i'll admit to that

  • in america its always that one person on a very dark night with a black car and tinted windows with there headlights off

  • In Sweden you must have your headlights on at ALL TIMES or you can get a ticket for it. On nearly all bikes and cars you can't turn off your headlights.

  • i like the silent pause while watching the pigs

also, brits do use their headlights, most modern cars and bikes usually have sensors/come on automatically anyway

  • in england you dont need to

  • There are people in the UK who disable speed cameras in a different way.

They drop a car tyre over camera so it's just below the box with the camera and radar, fill the tyre with petrol and set it on fire.

Sometimes it just chars the outside but when it gets going it melts the internals and destroys the box.

Then there's the ones with a dirty great big saw who cut them down like trees.

speed cam dot co dot uk (spaces removed) then click gatso then vandalised gatsos.

  • wich motorcucle do u use?

  • @Micmar96 he uses a ninja

  • i like riding in the rain:)

  • polyurethanes spray is also good in disabling speedcamera :)

  • M13, Have you ever seen a speed camera in a dangerous place? I mean, every single camera I seen was on the long straight. Not a single one near schools, hospitals, sharp turns. It's a nightmare in Poland, where even tiniest villages (3 houses near the road) have their own f-in' cameras. Plus, they have mobile cameras, hidden in garbage cans (plastic bags won't do the trick because there's always a patrol nearby). What is it like in Taiwan?

  • lol @ around 1 min, just looking at the pigs in truck, no comment needed... :p

  • Sorry mate but your wrong.. alot of people dont put their lights on in the rain but then alot of people do.. like in your vid not everyone has their lights on..

  • Stay safe bro

  • Well in Poland you must ride with turned on light whole time, even when it's sunny.

  • @Mrozek93 yeah in Norway to

  • i'm british and I find that offensive, nah jut kidding

  • lol 19 years in england and i very rarely see people in the rain without headlights on

  • Hehe yep mate, thats so true. We brits love to live dangerously hehe.

  • It seemed like you were riding pretty aggressively despite having said all that about that being the worst weather to ride in :P .

  • What's this thing you say about burning a tire?

  • "Advanced Caucasian countries"?

  • 5 stars for the idea to put a burning tire filled with gas on it..

  • "that's the proper way to handle a speed camera." LMFAO.

  • The baby noises and humming...crack me up b/c I do the same on my bike. ^_^

  • You drove past the Ming Chuan University in Gueishan? I am coming to Study in Taoyuan at fall for one year.

  • any one els having slow speeds for youtube vids ? i cant watch any thing apart fron tv shows without it stoping every 10 seconds good vid btw but just cant watch it with out it stoping evert 10 seconds :(

  • Let it buffer idiot.

  • @teamzulu16 lmfao!!!! sooo funny

  • Cool Video....even though theres alot of rain on the Windshield thats a Nice Looking City! ;-)

  • That isn't true about the brittish sooo...

  • @chunkylover48 Similar names, BOM BOM BOM (ominous music)

  • oi lol we do turn our lights on in the rain n dark lol......i mean if we remember to put our tea n crumpets down that is hahaha ok no im not helping the britsh steriotype lol

  • at least my radar detector can pick up lasers and all the signals. its saved my ass so many times

  • @adamberg666 pretty safe to say you dont live in virginia right?

  • @adamberg666 they are legal in mn. definatly worth the money.

  • That's the beauty of lasers, once the beam hits your detector the cop already knows your speed. IMO detectors aren't worth the money unless you only travel an area where cops only use radar and you never drive fast enough for them to be able to pace you.

  • @killer2600 oh yea, well in order for them to give you a ticket, they have to calibrate your speed from the front and back of their cop cars. so if i slow down before i pass the cop. i cant get ticketed. my uncle got out of a ticket in court that way.

  • Thats in Some Country's bud, Diffrent areas dont run like that. Down in Cali, My father is an officer, and all he has to do is tag yuh in the front and your done.. no getting out of it. Same with Speed and light cameras.

  • @RidingYamaha47 im glad its like this up here in minnesota

  • dude i couldnt help but notice at 2.23 did u say and she has a nice but lolololol that was hilarious

  • Mentiion UK and head lights, comments explode with rage.

  • holy crap! i had a dark blue 5 series back in the day mordeth thank you for the flashbacks lmao.

  • They have those speed cameras in england all the time. they use lasers to bounce of the car and can see how fast you are going bye the time it takes for the laser 2 return ..

  • You F****** ROCK!!

  • oh god is that america...it looks like a 3rd world country...look at the state of the place!?!?!?!

  • @clazzyfree1 Yeah, its America. Can't you tell by the Chinese letters on the road?

  • I drive a RS 125 and i cant turn the headlights off :/

  • Damn Mordeth, you made a lot of Brits mad with this video - LOL. To be honest, there's idiots that turn their headlights on all over the world, and I hate every single one of them. I live in Virginia and most of the idiots here don't even know HOW to drive in rain. RAIN = no less than 5 accidents on the way to work.

  • Us english always have our headlights on you must have been unlucky.. i only really see the odd person who isnt smart enough to turn them on at night/in rain =p

  • Click on read all comments. Plenty of Brits on here saying the opposite of you.

  • ... and she had a nice butt! LOL

  • my mum and dad always turns on there headlights when it rains in the uk. its just ignorant drivers who don't.

  • One correction regarding the oil, since the water is a fluid lighter then oil dropped out of vehicles, it would never bring the oil up on the roads!!! But thats just experiences made in laboratory!!! I know if the rain is light the road will get more slippery then with heavy rain, but oil is not the explanation for it!!!

Anyways, still digging your vids, your a good buddie keep it on!!!

  • Right, I think is a thin layer of mud and loose rubber from the tires of vehicles. Then washed out if it keeps raining harder. Also I can see spots of oil that don't move much with water. They reflect like rainbows.

  • last time I checked oil floats on water buddy

  • Am a foreigner living here in the UK and I think most Brits turn their lights on when dark/rainy. Probably depends what sort of traffic you were in. Regular commuters who know how to drive? Or Sunday drivers who sometimes have no idea?

That said, I'll pay more attention next time it's dark and rainy. Maybe you have a point. Have driven in over 20 countries and I think the Brits are fairly okay drivers. Not as good as on the Continent.. but not too bad.

  • Mordeth, what did you see in that pig truck that was so interesting? ha ha

  • What!? lol

If I got caught driving round with no headlights on in the dark, I'd get shafted by the first copper I saw.

  • dude we turn our headlights on. its the immigrant tossers and unlicenced wankers that dont turn them on.

    GRRRRR!!!

  • I think you will find that it is the Americans that don't put there headlights on in the rain or dark. I am British and lived in Florida for 13 years, and i would say 90% of Americans don't ever put there headlights on. Also i have one question whats your problem with the Brits your always slagging us off.

  • Dear JRPerry. You can not go guessing that 90% of us Americans drive without headlights on in the dark out of the population in Florida. Ive been all over the East Coast, and those without headlights on get pulled over. :)

  • @JRPerry05 yeah, but you gotta also consider that in Florida they let you ride without a helmet LOL

  • @JRPerry05 how did you come up with 90% if you lived in one out of 50 states...?

  • .... we do. very rarly does it happen in the UK

  • on '3rd-world countries' using headlights... :o) Wonder if M13 could ever survive Vietnam traffic; :D he'd probably need ants' GPS. :o) n I thought traffic at peak time in LA, NY, SF, n some other parts of the world is suffocating. :o) Main cities rarely make my sightseeing list. People who live in world's top cities w/ worst traffic jams sure breathe a whole lot easier.

  • Is it still spitting on Rainyday Man? ;o) I like rain (more than snow n fog), but not all year round like in England. :P "The sun never sets on the British Empire" must be 1 of the explanations to why England is so morbid n depressing most of the time? :o) jk don't ban me. :P

  • Ah yes, nice and blurry, reminds me of the good old M13 days.

  • worst weather for riding? where i live, wo got white stuff called snow, which is really ugly for riding..

  • i have heard about this with the oil and rain

  • "I'm Mr.Cautious!" * Speeds Up To 60 k/mh*

    Made me LOL :)

  • lol i live in england and i know in the city everyone drives with their lights on if its dark or rainy. ha. dont know about anywhere else. but 90% of people in england are dicks anyway. im not proud to be british . id rather be from anywhere else in the world..

  • Ditto...

  • the real way to destroy the cameras is to get a can of expanding foam and spray it into eany hole on the camera

  • i would have to ask..what the hell part of england did u go to lol? because iv never seen some 1 driving in the dark/rain without their lights on...

  • Never? Not ever? I hope you aren't one of those drivers who 'seem' to have their eyes closed a lot! A lot of people are less inclined to turn their lights on during the day, if it's gone incredibly dark, raining hard and vision has been dramatically reduced, it's day time thus.. no need for lights. Though fortunatelly after one puts their lights on, it has a chain effect and it's then deemed socially okay!

Though I would say it's rare to see drivers at night time without lights on.

  • dont argue with the master :D

  • "as my british subscribers are unsubscribing" lmao nah im sure they wont unsubscribe even if you take a crap on their flag lolol

  • err I think we do put the lights on, cos as a biker myself I'm used to getting blinded by the bloody things, tut shame you've only got a 400 cc

  • 600+CC Ninja Bike

  • is it true new tires are the worst for driving?

in regular weather conditions or rainy weather?

  • A brand new tire is slippery for the first few miles......then it's fine.

  • I'm not trying to troll or anything but I live in England and people put their headlights on at the slightest drop of rain or dark.

Its either the certain part of Britain you were in or you havnt spent enough time here to make a proper judgement.

I think this is the first time I've disagreed with something you said! Keep up the vids

  • Watch my UK series. It's on here. You can see for yourself. It wasn't my imagination. I spent a week there riding every day.

  • Yeah I remember the videos now you mention it, must of been the place you were in or just coincidence that you happened to ride past a handful of idiots on the road.

  • @charlieDuk At least they witnessed the spectacular mordeth drive by them beforehand.

  • 3:00 why this guy's breaking?

I had held gloves with a rubber wiper which came off. Now I wipe with a cleanex. It is just so difficult to get the napkins out of my bag while driving.

  • C'mon.... Erin CUMMINGS?!?!?!

  • There's one of those flashing speed limit signs just down the road from my house (in the UK). Many trips past it have taught me that if you go past at the exact lowest speed that sets it off then you can get it to flicker like mad, it's brilliant.

  • british people do drive with headlights on... dont criticize countries that you have no knowledge about.

  • I have ridden in the UK recently. I made dozens of videos while there. And every time it rained....I don't think anyone put their lights on.

  • 95% of Brits put their lights on in the rain. I flash people who don't. (Flash my lights that is, I don't show them my ding ding)

  • 95% total bull.....I don't know who is thumb upping you. Read the comments. The first few dozen comments have many many Brits commenting .....and they all AGREE with me.

  • @topbanana188

    haha "Ding ding" :P

  • 80mph

  • my bad... that was Atlas with the wiper gloves. lo siento

  • I thought you had those gloves with the wiper built in like on your thumbs... it didnt look like you were wearing them because you were using your entire hand to wipe off the rain

  • Switching your headlights on in broad daylight is idiotic, it makes you loverlook pedastrians more easily. In darkness or bad view it's a given to switch them on.

  • I just want to make sure I understood you correctly... Driving with your headlights on during daylight hours will cause people to suddenly become incapable of seeing pedestrians? You're going to have to explain the physics behind that to me.

  • Statistics in austria show that after applying the light-on duty more pedestrians and cyclists were harmed, so they disbanded this law again.

Although i don't really trust that statistic, because some sites say, that "it slightly increased" the incidents with those two groups it's more or less easy to understand if you think about it yourself:

You start to expect everything to have a light on, so you may overlook things more easily without one.

  • Plus the visibility of bikers falls, since theyre not the only ones with headlights on anymore, wich may lead to more crashes too.

  • Why would you be on the lookout for peds while you're on the road...?

  • We do drive with our headlights on in the UK, but i never knew you've seen every person in England drive at night or in the rain, whatever nice thing to assume though :D

  • Yawn.

  • UK Butthurt started to attack

    haters gonna hate

  • In Denmark it is illegal to drive without your headlights on.

  • have to dis-agree with u there m13..... we do have our head lights on when it rains and stuff!! but what area were u in britian?

  • I was in the Gay capital....forget the name....haha. BUT I traveled all around northern England. London.....no one had their lights on. Watch my UK videos...they are on here.

  • Thats becuase you weren't in Scotland. lol =P

  • Wrong! they do turn their lights on in the rain.

that BMW on the right didn't turn on the light, should I then conclude Taiwanese are dumb based on that car?

  • I wasn't basing my judgement off of one car moron. I was basing it after riding in England for 10 days straight in the dark and in the rain....

  • after looking at various comments you replied to, I just wanna say you should have explained and include some links of why you made this conclusion.

You tone sounded absolutely biased and I can tell you never drove or rode in eastern europe at all. This is why everyone is so angry, and I'm not British.

  • Must only happen in southern Britain, where i live, in the North :(, headlights are rarely off.

In fact some people put foglights on when its not even that dark...... idiots

  • Maybe the camera was broken and the cops actually covered it with the bag so it won't get wet in the rain ;)

Remember that they only swap the insides of the cameras, most of them are empty boxes, at least that's how it is in Europe.

  • @imachynn Same here in Australia, only something like 30% of them actually have a camera in them, the rest are empty and they just randomly move camera's around so you never know.

  • @imachynn der water broke my uncle is a cop i asked him

  • headlights or not.....which is a safer place to drive?? i rest my case.

  • "British people, no matter how dark it is don't turn their head-lights on"? utter rot.

  • Can you ride your ninja in the scooter lane?

  • oh no we droped our crumpets on tha floor

Oh Timmothy Just let our maid get it Ah ha haha oh yes indeed

OK English people get over it a guy that makes videos on youtube and says some of you guys are stupid and dont worry we got alot of dumbasses here in The US too but we arent posting comments on youtube saying OH IM UNSUBBING BECAUSE HE SAID SOMETHING THAT OFFENDS ME oh really...type it to some one that gives two shits about your life

  • @ rottweiler1211 Re-read what I said you fat fucking dumb yank. Obesity is no excuse for bein' a retard.

I can do stereotypes too, ya get me.

Apart from the fact my stereotype is mostly true, whereas yours, aint.

Sending my love from the UK xx

    P.S. Still love ya mordeth.

P.P.S. I have nothing against the (seemingly few) intelligent and sound americans.

    Safe x

  • lol was i talking to you? the way you talked back to me made me respect you you actually arent a dumb ass (no sarcasm intended)

  • Hws de earthquake? Did it hit u??

  • ok street racer, you're mister cautious

  • How is that dark?

  • Sweet vid M13, any major damage after the earthquake in Taipei?

  • LOL at the comments all defending or bashing Britain. You can't judge a whole nation just based on one experience. In the video M13 points out 3 of the 4 cars that had their lights on. Does that mean 25% of Taiwanese don't drive with them on? Nope. There are stupid people everywhere, no one nation can claim to have the most.

  • Actually.....25% would be pretty accurate. More often than not if you take a small sampling....it WILL represent the whole. More of ten than not.

  • Well to be honest, I do see a lot of idiots on the roads here without lights on, and most commonly it's dark-coloured cars as well. I'm not going to defend them just because they're British, but I don't think it's just limited to Britain. I drove in Ireland for years and with constant grey skies and miserable weather, it was the same situation there.

  • Hahaha, nice work on the speed camera - a great idea we should do over here in Australia. Speaking of speed-detecting led-light speed signs - more aussie roads are getting them. So if your doing 110 it'll flash at you "100". Easy to ignore really.

  • lol my headlight once broke and i chose to high beam my way home.. ppl werent happy XD but yh im british and i agree ppl do leave it till its very dark to turn there headlights on but when im on my moped i have my lights on 24/7 cos it does make u more visable even durin the day :D

  • I had to laugh when you said you gotta be more cautious, like me Mr. Cautious then you ride the line between a car and a truck at the light and launch yourself. ( 3:00 )

    LoL Take care.

  • i can see m13 laughing at all your british ppls comments. he knew that woulda happened.

  • in wales we rarely ever turn our headlights on if its raining unless it was really heavy and dark.... lol they'd never be off =P

but yeh dont see why people are taking such an offence to it....people need to learn to take it with a pinch of salt..

  • wauw all you haters......Not the first time Mordeth bahses people for being stupid but when he bashes your society you get all defensive and hate on him? seriously?....get over yourself.

  • gud vid though

  • in england they do turn their lights on. Now the spanihs dont seem to , well some do . Depends where uy were m13 cud of just been some odd ones out

  • thats bullshit about british drivers, even when its slightly dark or raining every1 has head lights on

  • i agree bout the british drivers/riders not using lights just cos they can see dosn't mean every one else can. I'm british BTW and it really annoys me.

  • I'm british and the majority turn their lights on. A lot of people have them on during the day in normal lighting as well.

  • im british and we turn our headlights whenever i go out, dont chat shit ... i liked you before now

  • "it is a voice like oil defeats the road pony tail light rain" hahahha

  • haha! the captioning "thats the proper way i don't speak" @ 4:00

  • Heavy rain! hell yeahh

  • advanced Caucasian countries? well thats a little racist haha

  • theres lots of political talk in the CC ?

  • Can't agree through experience.

  • hi im a 12 year old boy and i just thort ill tell you i love your videos

  • light rain? try snow :P

  • compacted snow (Y)

  • You seem tired in this video. You pulled up next to a bus full of Taiwanese cops about a minute in, and you didn't have anything to say? heh, j/k

  • its true what M13 says to an extent, i bet people in taiwan turn there lights on alot before most english people would turn there headlights on while it gets dark

  • i live in the u.k n ive never seen a car without a light on, when its dark raininy foggy etc always have there lights on the only times they piss me off is when they leave there full beam lights on and u just cant see shit

  • i hardly see cars with lights on in bad conditions

  • hahaha! The transcribed audio is so funny. The first thing you say it interprets it as you saying. "This president like I'm not part of this device on the back are the lights on" hahaha and it says other wacky things too!

  • Bullshit M13, most people turn their lights on when there's dark cloud and it's chucking it down.

  • With those subtitles on at 3:15 when you give it gas your bike says DIIIIIIIIIIID hahaha

  • haha that experimental Closed captioning is awesome... "make the roads three eighths just having a little the surface" O.o

  • gotta be careful of hydryplaning too with lots of rain :)

  • lol i just watched the entire video again with the experiemental google subtitles on, hilarious :D

  • @becks137 haha, it bans parties and on president our brains.....................

  • English people do put their lights on when necessary, but in places like america they're so not used to bad weather that any spot of rain or dark cloud and headlights go on and motorways grind to a halt ;D at least that was my experience when i worked out there

  • there's a speed camera near my house, they just display your speed

  • you should have freed the pigs.

  • "i gotta call em as i see em and thats just messed up"

and then he looks at the bus full of pigs and says nothing

  • haha ;D

  • @Eralen00 He was too self-conscious about what the pigs thought of him.

  • lol. she had a nice butt :)

  • I think in England our eyes have permanently adjusted to the constant rain haha. Nevertheless mine are always on whatever the weather (i ride a motorcycle all year round though so they would be). Plus we have those signs here in England, it just helps to spur on the competition haha.

  • Thanks for wiping from time to time. I really like your videos and look forward to the next one!

  • hehe it is obligated in Europe to turn on your headlights even during day.. at least in Holland we do

  • The first 15 minutes of rainfall are the most dangerous for driving any type of vehicle.

  • what part of england did you go to?
