The Legend of Chun-Li wasn't a waste of money. That acting wasn't bad. The script dialogue wasn't bad. There's something good about the film. They did it realistic, not try, did. It's Street Fighter, I care. It has a great story. The crime stuff is based on canon story. It's not a stupid mind bottling thing. The average human mind can keep up with it with ease. It is fun to watch. I was born in Bangkok. I expected this film to be good, I'm not an idiot.

I was very forgiving to the fact that:

A. Chun-li wasnt full asian(i like K.K)

B. Bison was a Business man..i didnt like it but i let it slide

C. she only wore bun during the lesbian dance scean O.o

The Street Fighter series, particularly the Udon comic and of course the games, is great. There is a good story in there, but since the mainstream audience just knows commercial and arcade games, they don't know this. The movie is terrible, but had they actually attempted to make a decent film and actually thought it through, and perhaps spoke to someone who actually knows about the source material, they could've surpassed the '94 movie. But, the series itself isn't to blame.

I dunno why people bashed the first one so much. I enjoyed it when I was a kid. I didn't see anything wrong except that the actors seemed not to take the acting seriously.
