  • I'm assuming these are either military people in training... That would explain why they have the best cut offs I have ever heard. When they finish a verse they have perfect timing, which is hard to do.

  • My granddad who was a retired air force member died and this was his favorite song I miss him so much

  • This song played at my grandpas funeral because he actually graduated from west point. I miss him dearly!!!

  • My community choir is doing this song. It's amazing<3

  • To Jesus Christ be all the GLORY! Forever! Amen! Lord, let our hearts beat for thee.

  • My choir is singing this song. I love it. :)

  • Hearing this makes me proud to be a Navy Veteran.

  • beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RIP all soldiers who have given their lives selflessly in the line of duty and thank you to all who have served and are currently serving

  • my brother goes to this school and thoes cadets are so down to earth and amazing that it tells u why they are there

  • i always watch this show at gleeonline. org

  • God Bless all those who have given their lives in the last 10 years of fighting terrorism. Once again, we stand together as a united country.... this time in celebration. God Bless America!!!

  • Outstanding! Hoo-rah!

  • @MyMark1958 The Army yell is Hooah! The Marine yell is Oorah!

I suggest you pick one or the other. ;)

  • @SemperFidelis2016 geez, did you find that in the marine corp handbook ? cuz I've heard both used interchangeable by both branches.

  • This isnt a glee club but a men choir.

  • @Qedia Except that there are women...

  • @Qedia From wikipedia

    "Glee Club"

"A glee club is a musical group or choir group, historically of male voices but also of female or mixed voices, which traditionally specializes in the singing of short songs—glees—by trios or quartets. The first named Glee Club was founded in Harrow School, in London, England, in 1787."

  • @Krojack76 You are right! Sorry :D

  • Amazing n beautiful

  • I remember this hymn in "We Were Soldiers" & President Reagan's funeral, both brought tears to my eyes. Great hymn...great movie...great president!

  • That midshipmen (midshipwomen?) is hot.....

  • i just sat down for a bite of lunch while preping food for christmas day and found this.

its a very moving piece and very well done

merry christmas to all your and our (British) troops, stay safe

  • i know the guy at the top left at 0:40 ! he had the a lead role at our high school's musical :)

  • To the individual who thumbed this video down, there are millions of people who don't like you. Good luck.

  • Outstanding! This song touches my heart every time I hear it. Hoo-rah!

  • Amazingly well-written and equally well performed piece! Oh, and the note on the one midshipman in the group... The service academies often send a few cadets/midshipmen to each other's schools for a semester. Makes for fun pranks during Beat Army/Air Force/Navy weeks, but there's a deep respect for each other, regardless of rivalries.

  • mybill1950 freedom has a flavor the protected will never know bill counts i/ist cav vietnam 1970

  • My cousin Tunde

    bottom row <3

  • Beautiful.

  • Great song but don't let the ACLU hear it or they may sue !! ;(

  • This song brings me to tears, especially when soldiers sing it. Wonderful!

  • I'll excuse the moron who doesn't know a chapel from a chaplain or an altarpiece from an organ; this is the best arrangement of "Mansions" I've heard yet and I come from a Navy family.

  • I'm an old Marine field corpsman HM2, and Navy SEAL...and this makes me cry every time I hear it..Outstanding !

  • Amazing, LONG LIVE WEST POINT!! planning to attend

  • @devilpupbear09 when ?

  • great Song. Greetings from Germany

  • My son is a member of the West Point Glee Club.

  • Great song. My men's chorus just got to sing this (among other things) in the Capitol rotunda. Talk about acoustics!

Btw, what's up with the one midshipman in a USMA glee club chorus?

And I have to say it because I saw the pro army comment further down: Go Navy! Beat Army!

  • Exchange program among the service academies. Though we fight like hell on the field, in the end we are comrades in arms.

  • @EMT308 West Point and Annapolis have an exchange program. I assume that the midshipman was an exchange student that happened to be in Glee Club at USNA and continues at USMA.

  • @EMT308 We do academy exchanges between the AF, the Navy, the Coast Guard and the Army - she was one of our exchangers. We had a zoomie last semester as well.

  • @EMT308 The midshipman was participating in the inter-academy exchange program for fall semester. She was in my son's cadet company. Go Army, Sink Navy!! :)

  • @EMT308 Exchange semester probably.

  • @eodcheese Ahhhh......thank you.

  • The girl closest to the center in the front row is the daughter of one of my West Point classmates (class of 1984).

  • "Interior shot of the Cadet Chaplin"?

Makes you wonder what end they stuck the camera in...

  • lol, I just giggled about the same thing...

  • It's better than calling it "The Enemy Camp" like Chris Matthews did.

  • 1:41 Yea, Josh!

  • HEY I KNOW THAT GUY. OMG I KNOW HIM. haha. beat navy!
