In this case, the lyric changing makes a big difference in the meaning of the song. "All of this was all YOUR fault" vs "all of this was all MY fault." Is it your song? I don't think so. So don't talk to me like that. I guess they could sing MakeDamnSure but call it Cute Without The E and you would believe them just because it's their song...
