  • Very good! Exactly the sort of classic tune you'd expect Jim Campilongo to play, I guess. Or has he, actually?

  • Fine focus on a great tune, like Sven Asmussen on the violin - so enjoyable to hear good melody rather than ten thousand notes in 201 seconds with twelve-finger tapping ... John Jorgenson, Howard Alden and Frank Vignola also play absolutely splendid stuff in this vein - not to mention Les Paul's jazz recordings. Tastefully played. Thanks for the tunes Steve.

  • Absolutely delightful. I don't hear sloppiness - but a knowledge so truly honed as to be ahead or behind the beat on a given phrase as the whim takes him...

  • The sloppy dragging slides, drunk slides if you will, remind me of Danny Gatton. It is kind of like playing without a care if you reach the note in time or play them all evenly. It is neat. I like this video.

I am sure there are tons of guitar players who play this sort of style. Danny is the only one I know. You can recommend me some more if you want.
