Okay... This games fairly old but awesome. But even on very low graphics, my computer skips and lags. IT SUCKS!

i try to keep making horses so at helms deep it'll be like the real battle and uh.... last time i only had soldiers and they sucked XD

I have a similar strategy to you. I only use archers (including Rohirrim Archers and Yeoman) to get rid of pikesmen for the first few levels, and I usually just let them get killed as well. After I get the ability to train Elves, I only train them and standard Rohirrim Riders. I also give both of those units ALL upgrades, and I try to have even numbers of both.

I used to spamm horse-riders, it seems to work out quite well in the first couple of lvls xD
