@alaskaerjs Yea thats cool i like the underwater filming too. I was looking and you should really check out this website that has a bunch of GoPro stuff such as a thing were it makes underwater viewing much clearer, just a heads up and thanks for the info :D
@TheNYoutdoorsmen The still pictures at the beginning were taken with a 3.2 mp Kodak pocket cam. I had an idea what I wanted to do for this vid so it was easier while packing fishing gear & cams. However, I have used the GoPro picture feature many times and they come out great at max resolution. The timelapse feature is very cool!
@jungthethird Thanks for watching!. Song is part of Digital Juice Backtrax bundle ..Acoustic Dreams I believe but not sure which track...great acoustics for relaxing...Cheers!
@glenandgibbert there is a red LED on the front that flashes when running video or camera. There is also a lot of new trick stuff out for them...check out "eyeofmine" web site as they have all of the all the info you need including battery/card life references. Have fun!
for anyone wanting to take a trip up to alaska i completely recomend it the russian has been my favourite fly fishing spot but sadly i have only been once
@MotoooKariiim You need the waterproof case. eyeofmine has a new case that has a flat lense for added sharpness. Check out their web site. Great vids you have BTW..Cheers

Great video. Went up to Alaska and fished the Russian River last last summer and I absolutely fell in love with the place. BTW, whats the name of this tune? Very relaxing.
@jackxsterrr Thanks for watching! Glad you had a chance to make it here and also hope you didn't have to combat fish either. Sept is my time at the river. I believe the tune came from Digital Juice Backtrax Acoustic Dreams...not home so can't reference which track.
@alaskaerjs No problem! Combat fishing wasn't too bad. Between my brother and I, we caught 10 reds in 3 days. But all 10 came on the first day. We fished it for 3 days straight attempting to get our limit. But got skunked the final 2 days. Still wonderful, regardless. Thanks for the tune!

What do you think of the gopro for fishing? should I get It?
ghouska 1 year ago
@ghouska Guess it would depend on what you want. I scatched up the lense playing around in rocks but deeper water would be no problem.
