I did that a few times when i was leveling my shammy(elemental tho). Allies somewhere in the far Tanaris killed him twice, so I relogged to my DK (one of the first Twillight Vanquishers on Magtheridon EU with imba pve gear), found them, and corpse camped all 3 of them (<3 deathgrip) for around 2 hours, one level 80 and two 42-43's. After around 10 death each they managed to reach the zul instance and that was it.
