@Creeepet won't effect anything. open system preferences and click networking. open advanced under the wifi (airport if snow leopard) then click TCP/IP check the router ip

@oceanview123ful The router's default password and username is "admin" and "admin" (Admin for both password and username). If that doesn't work, try "password" for the password, or "adminpassword"

nope, you can still port forward. the 10.0.1.X is simple just ho certain routers do it....go to 10.0.1.1 or something like that and you should get router preferences.
