Ich sehe hier das wenn die Einheiten sich dem Ort nähern, gibt es von dem vor dem Ort spielenden Kindern eine Warnung somit laufen die Väter ( Taliban ect. ) in dem Busch um sich so lange zu verstecken bis die Einheiten wieder abziehen. Über Satellit sicherlich zu erkennen und verstehen.

Über Wärmebild Kameras sind z.B.die Flugrichtungen aus der die Kugel kommt sicherlich einfacher zu erkennen,

Und effektiver zu bekämpfen.

@uberbollocks This is one of the reasons yes ... in the cold war planing we relied after a week fighting on help from the outside , that was NATO , so we would use their ammo :)

Also why we dont have the german mg , but ksp58 , i belive the brits call it the gpm , correct me if Im wrong

Question 2: If Sweden is not a NATO country, then they're not using NATO rounds, right? But the magazine that I saw on the gun was a STANAG mag, which, correct me if I'm wrong, is meant to hold 5.56x45mm rounds. So, would these just be Swedish-standardized .223?

Q 2:We're not in NATO but we use 5.56mm rounds and we use standard m4 magazines and swedish-made plastic mags.

I doubt it's the Special Operation Group, they usually are more for gathering information about enemies, hostage rescue and so forth. Also they are very independent of vehicle.

The swedish Command In-Chief doesn't give us much information at all about the war. If I remember correctly swedish soldiers ain't allowed to write online about the firefights they are in because it's classed as "military secret information"... or am I mistaken?

I mean, it would be darn easy to cover it all up for them...

@callekullander yeah, of course, they use the barret m82 and the ag3 (kongsberg made hk g3) (and one i'm not sure is correct, we maybe use the hk 417) but mainly the barret m82, but the g3 is less and less in use:( too bad cus i love the g3XD

@olavtorjus95 we swedes have used the g3 battle rifle too it's a great weapon same here I like it. I thought u guys had a bolt action rifle like we have. We got the TRG-42 A finnish sniper rifle as we call it PSG 08 and the Artic warfare sniper PSG90 and not just semi auto rifles. We use the barrett m82 too as the AG90.
