  • That 7 string is delicious.

  • These string of videos are cool as fuck. Thanks a bunch for these, man. Now I just have to work on string bending and vibrato, haha.

  • Dave, just the riff i was looking for this Saturday afternoon. Just a shame it took me a year to find it!!

    man only if you can,

thanks man and keep rocking !

  • sounds like a lick from mary had a little lamb by SRV

  • This is the kind of riff I've been looking for, thank you!

  • The 'Now You're a Man' song brings back a bad memory for me. :(

  • Hey mate, I like your lessons, could you do some lessons on some more advanced blues stuff? Also maybe play some riffs in other keys than E, lol. anyway good job!

  • thx! you might want to scroll through the list of ROTW vids I've done in the last 4.5 years. I'm sure you'll find something not in E. But unless you're a master of E, I wouldn't move on.

  • Haha no mate, I just think that as a guitar teacher, it's good to keep your listeners a bit "fresh", because I, just like most of the guitarists, tend to stick to the E scale to improvise, and I think it's good to be forced to play in many different keys, not just E, C and G for example.

Anyway congrats with everything, you are a very talented player for sure!

  • Dave, thank you so much for your video sessions, it takes a lot of dedication to have something this good, I saw you at Eric Clapton's crossroads festival in Dallas a few years back with Steve Vai and well as on his DVD's...thank you again. I am from Louisiana, have a new band and we're about to break out...I'm also a geologist.

    Thanks

    Mike

  • I really like the sound of your guitar. Great riff too.

  • Very niiiiice

  • DVDA, Orgasmo rocks.

  • Another great example of just how versatile you are. Good stuff.

  • Great video, nice bluesy lick there.

  • Awesome riff, Dave!

  • thanks dave, I love your vids, they help out a lot

  • Sweet, very Tommy Emmanuel. Great riff! Scary singing.

  • Great video dave.

  • Dave, I know my scales, and I can improvise well, but all my original solos sound very bluesy. Yet, when I listen to you or Vai improvise, it doesn't sound bluesy and sounds incredible...Do you have any advice for this?

    Great ROTW by the way.
