There is no 'ei' in there, even though that would have been grammatically correct without changing the meaning (it does not fit these guys' dialect though.
'Innestengt i eike kiste' is completly wrong because you allways stick these kinds of words together in Norwegian (compounding).
If you think only good black metal comes from scandinavia you're a fucktard. Nokturnal Mortum, Drudkh, Temnozor, etc..... Stop licking thier balls long enough to lift your head up and look around a bit you fucking groupies.
Black Metal has nothing to do with were it is made. Scandinavia, europe, the americas. It depends on the artists. It just so happens that alot of the better bands have come from norway because black metal is bigger there
The Scandinavian(and more precicly Norwegian) has given Norwegian black metal bands the sound they have. Immortal's vocal take direct inspiration from Norways' weather. If you ever tried wandering in a Norwegian forest at night, you understnad what I'm saying. You get the same vibe that you get from for example a Darkthrone album.
Yooper314 ,, why dont u just tell us what they are in english if your going to dangle it in fornt of us like that. I suppose youd just like us all to justify your superior norweigen linguistic skills by asking you for the translation, or maybe ur just full of crap. I hope you feel very stupid, but alas i do agree norway is godly for black metal
Listening to this make my blood freeze.
Great stuff.

It's not Innestengt i ei Eikekiste nor Innestengt i ei Kekiste. It's Innestengt i eikekiste
Zatyyr 2 years ago
This is 100% correct.

Also notice the capitalisation:
'Innestengt i eikekiste' which translates to:
'Locked Inside (an) Oak Coffin'

my experience is that there are many good BM bands, but the best bands comes from Norway....

You can't compare Norway's form of black metal with the US's form of black metal, they are completely different.
douglasaxbm 3 years ago 2
I beg to differ.

"Innestengt" could also mean "bad smellig". Most Khold songs bear some really great twisted humour.

No country can do black metal as norway... "innestengt i eikekiste, livet nektes deg å miste"... awesome lyrics (when translated into english =)
